RE0 - INVESTIGATOR DO RELATÓRIO 2
O pesquisador relata que a missão está indo para o inferno e que deveriam ter terminado com a formação facilidade há muito tempo. Eles foram atacados por todos os lados por zumbis e outras BOW's. Eles não eram disseram que iriam encontrar essas criaturas no briefing e conclui que HQ obviamente, não quer conhecê-los. Ele interroga-se se há uma conexão com os assassinatos na mata e conclui que ele deve ter sido planejado e todos os que alguém deliberadamente espalhado o T-Vírus. Os membros da equipe de investigação, bem como os guardas e soldados acompanham todos eles tenham sido infectados. Todo o investigador pode fazer agora é decidir se a utilizar o seu último ponto sobre si próprio ou de um amigo.

Umbrella uma propriedade de luxo comboio expresso, o ECLIPTIC EXPRESS; está viajando em alta velocidade a caminho da velha abandonada Umbrella Formação Facilidade localizado profunda dentro da floresta. Traz membros de uma segunda equipe de investigação, como ordenados por William Birkin, para assistir a primeira equipa que já estão no local para conduzir opiniões preliminares sobre a possível re-abertura do complexo.

À medida que o comboio velocidades através da floresta, que é vigiado por uma figura misteriosa que fica sozinha no topo de um penhasco. Um dos passageiros avisos algo fora de sua janela e, de repente, o trem é atacado por um enxame de leech-como parasitas que se ligam contra o exterior do transporte. Em breve o comboio é superação.

STARS Bravo Team está fazendo varreduras inicial através da floresta, como parte da sua investigação em curso para o brutal assassinato que ainda recentemente atormentado pela comunidade, a sua missão de busca e salvamento e localização de possíveis oculta esconderijo.

RE0 - INTRO
Embora voando sobre a floresta, o Bravo helicóptero sofre inesperada motor falha e pilotos Edward e Kevin são forçados a fazer uma aterragem de emergência. O helicóptero é um naufrágio, mas toda a equipe sobreviver ao acidente. Enrico Manda-los para a área segura, enquanto Kevin permanece no interior de tentar reparar alguns dos danos.

O comboio está cheio de sangrar órgãos, todos os passageiros estão mortos. Ao investigar mais ela descobre que todas as pessoas a bordo eram membros de uma equipe de investigação Umbrella. De repente, os órgãos ascensão e ataque dela! Ela foge. Ela encontra ausente a condenação, Billy Coen. Ele adverte para mantê-la longe de si, a sua falta de experiência permitindo-lhe obter o melhor do seu. Ela solavancos em Edward, que está mortally feridos. Ele diz a ela a floresta está cheio de criaturas perigosas antes de morrer nos braços dela e ela prossegue-se o comboio, em baixa munição.

Enrico convida-la no rádio. Ele diz a ela que Billy Coen mataram até 23 pessoas e adverte-se sobre ela a sua guarda. No entanto, ela perde o sinal antes que ela possa dizer-lhe a sua localização.

Coen gere a sneak-se sobre ela e novamente depois que ele salva a sua vida eles formam uma trégua apreensivo. Eles spot uma figura assistindo-os de fora do comboio em tempestade. Ele parece estar a controlar as sanguessugas.

Rebecca e Billy encontrar e ativar o freio de emergência ainda não pode impedir que o comboio de cair em uma barricada de um velho abandonado plataforma abaixo da formação facilidade. Ambos sobrevivem a acidente no entanto, e escapar através dos esgotos e para a instalação propriamente dita.

Como Wesker e Birkin continuar a acompanhar os seus progressos hacks um homem desconhecido em seu sinal pretender ser nenhum outro além James Marcus, que tinha sido assassinado há 20 anos. Ele revela que o biológico perigoso no Spencer Lab foi nenhum acidente, que era ele. Ele também confessa que contaminam a Ecliptic Express. Ele queimaduras com vingança sobre Umbrella.
Rebecca e Billy começar a pesquisa através da formação complexa, é preenchido com os cadáveres errantes equipas de investigação da Umbrella. Ele diz que os outros Bravo's encontraram uma mansão na floresta Umbrella, que utiliza para a investigação e ele é a rubrica encontro com eles lá. Ele quer Rebecca para reunir-se-lhe, mas ela quer para encontrar Billy. Ele permite que ela vá relutantemente.

RE0 - JOGO: JULHO 24TH PRE-AURORA
Rebecca tem um elevador para um metro de tratamento de águas. Marcus relógios em sua câmera e decide que ela deixou de ser amuses ele.

Embora a explorar a instalação, ela encontra Billy, lavados em água e de saneamento apenas vivo. They move on, and eventually encounter Marcus. When he attacks them however, the queen leech inside of him breaks his mould and mutates.
After a tense fire fight, they manage to knock it down and escape.

REO – GAME: DAWN
As take the freight elevator up towards the surface, William Birkin activates the self destruct sequence yet the queen is not yet dead and follows them up the shaft. Once there, they find the queen is pervious to daylight and so they open the roof up to destroy it. They then run out into the forest as the whole facility explodes behind them.

They rest on the top of a hill. Below, they can see the Spencer Mansion, remote and ominous looking. Rebecca officially declares Billy Coen dead and they part, taking his dog tags. He watches her head towards the mansion to meet up with her team, and then he turns and vanishes into the woods.

RE1 – MANUAL: DAY
The remaining members of STARS Alpha Team arrive in Raccoon City late in the day.

REBIRTH – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS: NIGHT
Contact has been lost with Bravo Team for nearly 24 hours now and Wesker has been given authorization to take in Alpha Team to search and locate the Bravos and bring them home safe.

Brad Vickers preps the helicopter and they take off at dusk, heading away from the city lights and towards the forbidding Raccoon Forest, the source of all the recent murders and disappearances.

REMAKE – INTRO
Alpha Team are focusing on the areas shortly before they lost contact with Bravos chopper. After a few initial sweeps, it is Jill who spots the ominous sight of the wreckage. It confirms their fears that the helicopter has indeed crashed. They land nearby.

Aware that they are now in the danger zone, Brad keeps the engine hot whilst the others step out into the warm, summer night, weapons primed. The chopper however, appears to be deserted, indicating that the team survived the crash. Joseph steps into the wrecked cabin. He has a shoulder-mounted cam to record everything. The interior is a wreck and what is more suspicious is that the Bravo Team appeared to have left the scene without most of their equipment and the heavier weapons. Looking closer, Joseph finds bloodstains and when he peers into the cockpit he makes a gruesome discovery. Kevin Dooly, the Bravo Team’s pilot. He lies dead in his chair, his face mutilated and one of his eyes scratched out. Joseph jumps away in disgust.

Wesker orders his men to fan out and search the surrounding area and Joseph is attacked by a pack of Cerberus dogs, Jill can only watch in terror as they tear the STARS member apart. Chris grabs Jill and the dogs give chase. Thanks to covering fire from Barry and Wesker, they manage to get away.

But Brad loses his nerve in the helicopter and takes off without them. They have no choice but to run for a strange house in the distance. But Chris is lost somewhere outside.

Jill, Barry and Wesker sag into the main hall of a grand mansion. Jill wants to go back outside for Chris but Wesker tells her it would only end in her death.

They hear a sudden gunshot and Wesker sends the two Alphas to investigate whilst he secures the main hall.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Jill and Barry enter the next room which turns out to be a magnificent dining room with a grand oak table stretching across the room. It is uninhabited, yet a fire burns fiercely in the grate at the far end. As Barry makes his way over, Jill peers out of the windows, suddenly put on her guard by a rumble of thunder. Barry calls her over, he has found something. There is a pool of blood by the fire, it is fresh. Barry hopes it doesn’t belong to Chris or one of the Bravo’s. He wants to investigate further and asks Jill to check out the other door in the room. It leads into a corridor with a few doors, all are locked. She turns back and heads to the other end of the corridor and round the corner.

There is something there. A man appears hunched over a fallen figure. Jill isn’t sure what is happening at first, until the figure takes a huge bite out of the other’s neck. Jill reels in horror as she realizes the dead person is Kenneth Sullivan from the Bravo Team. The figure turns towards Jill, blood dripping from its mouth. She cannot comprehend what is happening as she staggers backwards, the thing lunging at her with decaying arms. As lightning flashes through the window, she fumbles for the door handle and stumbles back into the dining room.

She screams at Barry about a monster and he whirls at the sound of her voice. Raising his colt, he pumps three .365 rounds into the thing, the zombie, and it collapses to the cold, marble floor.

Barry wonders just what the hell it is and Jill tells him the creature has killed Kenneth. Before doing anything else they decide to report back to Wesker. Before they leave however, they hear the sound of a closing door and notice the thing’s body has disappeared.

Back in the main hall, lightning flashes, the storm must be over them now and to make the joke even worse, Captain Wesker is nowhere to be seen.

Jill and Barry call out to him but there is no answer. Jill has a quick check up the stairs but it is empty. There is no evidence lying around for what could have happened to him. It seems the STARS team is being picked off one by one and now only two of them are left.

They decide to split up to look for him. Barry will check the dining room again and Jill will try the door on the opposite side. They agree to meet back in the main hall if anything happens. Warning each other to be careful, they reluctantly go their separate ways.

Whilst exploring the eastern wing of the house, Jill enters a bathroom, where she is horrified to find a zombie in the bathtub. It lunges for her, falling onto the floor where she repeatedly stamps on its head. She is then sick in the toilet.
Moving on, she checks the next room where she falls victim to one of the mansion’s infamous traps. She is in a small reception room, where a fine antique shotgun hangs on the wall. It is loaded and in working order, so she takes it, unknowingly triggering a mechanism on the wall. However, when she leaves the room, the door locks behind her and the ceiling begins to lower. Finding the other door locked also, she begins to panic, calling out for help.

Meanwhile, for some unknown reason, Barry happens to be in the corridor outside and can hear her screams. He comes to her aid, blowing the door open with his colt. The ceiling is almost on top of her and he manages to drag her out just in time. She is thankful, yet wonders why Barry is here when he was supposed to be investigating the west wing. He says he just had something he wanted to check. He tells her they must get back to looking for Wesker and Chris and they split up once more.

REMAKE – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Meanwhile, outside the mansion in the thunderstorm, Chris Redfield has managed to evade and survive the Cerberus dogs. He manages to get into the mansion via a back door.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
After coming across some zombies and realizing the house is no safer inside than out, he begins to search for his comrades and finds a note from Wesker pinned up against the wall. He has left some ammo in an adjacent room and has gone on ahead to look for a way out. So someone else is alive at least.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Jill meanwhile, has moved upstairs and has emerged onto the second floor balcony. Barry is here, and is startled to see her. He shows her what he has found and points to the corpse of Bravo Team’s marksman, Forest Spyer. He appears to have been dead for a while and looks like he has been pecked to death by crows. Jill can’t believe it and is beginning to wonder if the whole team has been wiped out. Barry takes Forest’s grenade launcher and hands it to Jill before they split up once again.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
Meanwhile, Chris has found a key and managed to unlock a few doors around the mansion. He has dispatched a few undead, but his ammo is low. However, on the second floor, he finds two survivors, rookie medic Rebecca Chambers and communications expert Richard Aiken, both members of Bravo Team. Richard is badly wounded however, and appears to have been bitten by a poisonous snake. He is delirious and warns Chris to get his team out of the mansion before it’s too late. Rebecca says that there is an infirmary on the first floor where there is some serum. Chris hurries to get it. Five minutes later he is back and Rebecca administers it to Richard. He gives Chris his radio before his eyes close…But he is ok, Rebecca says he is just unconscious. They decide to move him to a safer place.

They reach the first floor infirmary where Richard lies asleep on the bed. Rebecca stays with him whilst Chris moves on to search for the others.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Meanwhile, Jill and Barry find a file that begins to offer some brief clues as to what has happened here. There appears to have been an accident with some sort of virus, although there appears someone has been trying to destroy evidence. Barry goes on ahead, he seems to be acting suspiciously.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
Meanwhile, low on ammo, Chris returns to the infirmary where Rebecca patches up his wounds. Richard is still sleeping. Rebecca plays a grand piano in the bar which unlocks a secret passage revealing some clues about the mansion’s dark past. Apparently, the former owners were not too happy about people finding out their secrets.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Jill finds the key to the mansion attic where she is attacked by a giant mutated snake. However, a recuperated Richard arrives to aid her with his assault shotgun. Together they manage to fend it off.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
Chris meanwhile has reached a crypt in the garden where a zombie elder slumbers. After defeating it he finds an emblem in its coffin which releases the lock at the back door.

After leaving the main grounds he receives a garbled radio message from Wesker. He cannot make much of it out but there is a warning to keep out of the woods outside the mansion, too late.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Jill too has gone through the back door and takes shelter in a small cabin and is surprised to find a warm fire burning in the grate. Suddenly, the door opens and she whirls round. Something monstrous appears out of the shadows; a hideously deformed creature with a hunched back bound in shackles. It is Lisa Trevor; she has been a test subject here for over 30 years and has been wandering around the grounds since the accident. She knocks Jill unconscious.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
Meanwhile, Chris has reached the Guardhouse. It too also houses zombies. He finds a lot of research papers indicating the scientists here were very interested in the STARS. He finds a secret passageway down to a flooded aquarium. Richard is there waiting for him. But the aqua ring is not empty and they are attacked by sharks. Richard sacrifices his life to save Chris from a huge mutated great white named Neptune.

Chris manages to escape and he and Rebecca encounter and destroy Plant 42. He then runs into Wesker, who is startled to see him alive. He says he got separated from Jill and the others. He orders Chris to go back to the mansion and try to find a way to get into the locked rooms they haven’t checked yet, while he searches the rest of the guardhouse.

Wesker meanwhile, has released the MA-121 hunters from their cages and they know prowl the mansion, unbeknownst to the other survivors.

On his way back up to the mansion, Chris receives a call on the radio from Brad. It seems he is still above in the helicopter circling the estate for them. The radio is broken however and Chris cannot reply to his message.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Meanwhile, Jill has regained consciousnesses and finds herself at the mercy of the abdominal Lisa Trevor. She manages to escape her grasp and flee into the garden. In the main courtyard she discovers a secret tunnel behind the waterfall which gives access to an underground network of tunnels.

It is down here that she comes across wounded Bravo Team leader Enrico Marini. She cannot believe he is still alive yet he is wary of her. He tells her of a traitor amongst the STARS and that they have been set up by Umbrella. Jill thinks it could be Barry, as both she and Wesker have noticed has been acting strange all night. Enrico however, strongly suspects Chris. However, before they can do anything Enrico is shot and killed by an unseen assassin. Jill immediately takes off after her assailant, and runs into Barry. He claims he heard someone’s voice in the tunnels. Together, they power up and ride the elevator to the lower levels of the catacombs. At the bottom, they hear a ghostly moan. Barry tells Jill to go on ahead while he secures the elevator. Jill runs into Lisa Trevor but manages to evade her. Upon returning to Barry however, he abandons her and rides the elevator up on his own, leaving her stranded.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME
Meanwhile Chris has returned to the mansion on Wesker’s orders only to find it infested with a new type of creature. The hunters are extremely dangerous reptilian creatures, capable of decapitating a human with their sharp claws.

He can hear screaming, it sounds like Rebecca and he wonders if she is upstairs. He races to the second floor and finds her fending off a hunter in the library. As it corners her, Chris kills it with his shotgun. Rebecca is shaken but thankful. Chris tells her to use her better judgment and to stay out of sight whilst he goes on ahead. They have to find the others.

Rebecca stays behind whilst Chris returns to the main hall, having found the two emblems that unlock the door beneath the stairs. Venturing down into the bowels of the mansion he hears gunshots. Climbing down a ladder he emerges in a huge tomb and finds Captain Wesker embodied in combat with a huge creature, the mutated Lisa Trevor. Wesker slaps home a fresh clip and invites Chris to help him out.

Together they drive the creature away by opening up the stone sarcophagus in the centre of the room. It ignores the two STARS officers and takes the skull of the occupant inside the tomb and then kills itself by hurling off the edge of the chasm. Wesker reloads and tells Chris to go on ahead whilst he checks out the area a little further.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME: JULY 25TH PRE-DAWN
Chris emerges into another section of the garden where he uncovers the secret entrance leading to an underground laboratory. Once inside he uncovers proof that all the creatures loose on the estate are the result of experiments authorized by Umbrella. He also discovers that Captain Wesker is working for them! However, he is hit from behind and knocked unconscious.

REMAKE – JILL GAME
Meanwhile, Jill has also stumbled across the labs. Using three MO discs, she finds Chris locked up in a cell. He tells her Wesker is the traitor. She runs into Barry, who apologizes for leaving her and together they take the elevator down to the main experiment room. They find Wesker, waiting for them. It seems her suspicions were confirmed as Barry is working for Wesker. He shows Jill the Tyrant, before attempting to shoot her but Barry is in their first and puts two rounds into Wesker’s shoulder. He apologizes to Jill after learning that Wesker’s threat over his family was just a bluff. Semi-conscious, Wesker unleashes the tyrant before Barry can stop him.

After a brief battle, the monster is felled, although Wesker has escaped from their clutches and activated the self-destruct system, they don’t have much time. They free Chris from the cells and make for the heliport, where they run into Rebecca.

REMAKE: DAWN
They use a flare to signal Brad in the helicopter but as he tries to land the tyrant is back for one last battle. Brad drops a rocket launcher down and Chris uses it to blow the creature to hell. They then board and escape as the mansion and labs go up behind them.

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS: JULY 25TH DAY
The survivors return to the RPD to be met with a mixed and bemused reception. 8 out of their 13 man elite squad dead, including Commander and leader Albert Wesker. Convict Billy Coen also believed to be dead, his body not recovered. They are ordered to take time off to recover from their ordeal, giving Umbrella time to plan their next move before the survivor’s formal reports are submitted.

RE2EX-JILL’S REPORT
Jill immediately makes a report about Umbrella’s bio-weapons programmed found at the Arklay Labs.

The STARS are officially removed from the investigation into the brutal murders recently plaguing the community. Reports citing the unit may be disbanded after the deaths of several team members including branch Commander, Captain Albert Wesker.

RE3 – MANAGER’S DIARY: JULY 29TH
At the Dead Factory, the functions of the disposal system are decreasing yet the number of bodies is increasing. The infection level has increased and the antibodies the workers are taking are not strong enough against the mutated T-virus. Some of the workers have become infected and the manager keeps a gun on him at all times. He wants to weep and remembers to keep one bullet for himself should the worst happen.

RECVX/RE4 – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS: AUGUST-SEPTEMBER , WESKER’S REPORT, ADA’S REPORT
Although assumed dead, Wesker joins ‘The Organization’, a rival agency of Umbrella, using the combat data he gathered on the Tyrant as a way to gain membership. There he meets a spy named Ada Wong and informs the organization of William Birkin’s G-Virus project. The group order him to acquire a sample and Wesker and Ada join forces and began to plan how they will make their move.

REOUT2 – MONEY SCOOP: AUGUST 1ST
Economist and lecturer Joel Clemens officially announces his intention to run for City Councilman. With corporate scandals and high unemployment rocking the citizens of Raccoon City, perhaps Clemens has what it takes to bolster the local economy.

RES – REPORT ON DESTROYED RACCOON CITY: AUGUST 5TH
Umbrella Supervisor Nicholai Ginoveaf reports that there are no signs of viral leakage in the surrounding areas of where the Spencer mansion used to stand. He states that Albert Wesker is MIA and presumed dead, although no body has been recovered. He also notes that Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are preparing to report the incident to the police and press. He requests this matter dealt with urgently.

RES – FACTORY WORKER’S DIARY
A factory worker on Umbrella owned Sheena Island despairs over his work of having to cut into live human subject’s heads in order to extract a rare tissue from their brains in order to increase their compatibility to become a tyrant. He doesn’t believe his job is ethical, even if it is company orders. He knows he will be sent to a place worse than hell when he dies.

RE3 – JILL’S DIARY: AUGUST 7TH
Jill has finally recovered from her injuries she sustained in the mansion incident, yet the deaths of her friends and team mates still haunt her.

RE2X – CHRIS’ REPORT
Chris Redfield submits his report to Chief Irons but he refuses to entertain the matter, as to Umbrella’s request no doubt.

RE2X – REBECCA’S REPORT
Rebecca Chambers files her report on the actions of Bravo Team on the 23rd of July. How they found the wrecked MP wagon and the mutilated bodies. She concludes the unidentified body must be that of convict Billy Coen. When the bodies were to be retrieved the next day, they had promptly disappeared, making it hard to turn over the bodies to the military for formal identification. She requests the case closed until further notice.

RE2 – CHRIS’S DIARY: AUGUST 8TH
Chris attempts to convince Chief Irons to launch a formal investigation into Umbrella’s dealings but his request is denied. Because so many people in Raccoon City are employed by Umbrella no one is willing to talk about the incident.

RE2 – MAIL TO CHIEF OF SECURITY: AUG 9-12TH
Presumably after reading Chris’ report, William Birkin instructs Chief Irons to monitor all the surviving STARS activities, and to dispose of them ‘accidentally’ if they uncover any incriminating evidence on Umbrella.

RE3 – JILL’S DIARY: AUGUST 13TH
Now back at work, Jill begins to wonder about Chris’ sudden attitude change. He is becoming irritated by the continuous refusal and begins to smell a conspiracy. He is so wound up he punches a junior cop who accidentally spilt some coffee over him.

RE3 – JILL’S DIARY: AUGUST 15TH
Jill receives a call from Chris and goes to his apartment. He has dug up some information on an apparent Umbrella prototype project called the G-Virus. He tells her its not over yet and she realizes Chris has devoted all of his time into getting to the bottom of the mystery.


RE2 – CHRIS’ DIARY: AUGUST 17TH
The RPD begin to receive reports from locals about sightings of strange creatures appearing at random throughout the city. Chris suspects Umbrella and is beginning to think their police chief may also be on their payroll. He turns to his friend in the FBI for help.

RE2 – MAIL TO CHIEF OF SECURITY
Birkin pays $10000 to Irons for his services so far. He also says that the G-Virus project is almost complete although the STARS members are still trying to uncover the evidence. He is to block any investigation which might lead them to the underground labs.

REDA – DISMISSAL NOTE: AUGUST 20TH
After completing its initial investigations into the May 11th biohazard, Umbrella decides to place the blame onto eccentric researcher Morpheus D. Duvall, a member of Raccoon’s Research and Development division. He is terminated from his contract with the company and leaves his position in Raccoon City. He is livid and swears revenge.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY
A young man is abducted on the streets on Congo by men in black working for Umbrella. He is then taken to Sheena Island and imprisoned.

RE2 – SEWER MANAGER’S DIARY: AUGUST 21ST
The manager is informed by William Birkin that the police and media are beginning a citywide investigation into Umbrella and that there is a high possibility the sewers may be searched. All Umbrella sewer facility operations are to be suspended until the investigation is over. He will lose his job as manager if the lab is found.

RE2 – POLICE MEMORANDUM: AUGUST 23RD
A memo informs the RPD of the movement of equipment around the station, including the safe that was transferred from the STARS office to the eastern office.

Chris Redfield who with the help of Jill Valentine and Barry Burton, uncovers some vague evidence vital to the case against Umbrella. Together, they decide to fly to the main Umbrella HQ in Europe for further investigation. Chris will go on alone while Barry will take his family safely to Canada before joining him. Jill decides to stay in Raccoon for a while further as she wants to investigate Umbrella’s dead factory on the outskirts of town. She will join her team mates in Europe in a month.

RE2 – NIGHT WATCHMAN’S DIARY
The RPD night watchman is caught by Irons messing about in the clock tower of the RPD. But the watchman is puzzled that Irons seems more bothered by the fact he was in the clock tower than skiving from his work.

REOUT1 – PETER’S DIARY: AUGUST 30TH
An umbrella scientist named Peter Jenkins working at Raccoon University reveals that a reagent named ‘Daylight’ which suppresses T-virus infection is at its final stage. He has been working with an ex-researcher named Greg, who filled him in on all Umbrellas’ heinous dealings.

RE3 – GAME SLEEVE: SEPTEMBER
Realizing that Chief Irons is on Umbrella’s payroll and that everyone seems to be against them, Jill Valentine resigns from the Raccoon STARS and decides to keep a low profile. Her aim is to discreetly investigate Umbrella’s Raccoon operations before heading off to join Chris in Europe.

RE – ARCHIVES
The Raccoon branch of STARS is officially disbanded. With Chris Redfield and Barry Burton out of the country and Jill Valentine having resigned, Brad Vickers is the only member left officially on police duty. The whereabouts of Rebecca Chambers are unknown.

To replace STARS, the RPD Select Force is formed with the equivalent of being a SWAT team for Raccoon City.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY: SEPTEMBER 5TH
The man who was abducted by men in black agents whilst in Congo has come to realize why he has been captured. He and a number of other young prisoners caught from around the world have been brought to Sheena Island as guinea pigs for a giant pharmaceutical corporation called Umbrella and all the residents of the city where he is held work for the company. He notes how sometimes Umbrella’s agents take them to a nightclub and arcade to help them relax, but it cannot disguise the grim truth that they are to be used as test subjects. The young man becomes determined to escape his fate.

RES – JANITOR ANDY’S DIARY: SEPTEMBER 6TH
Andy, a janitor who lives and works in the sewers of Sheena Island, notes in his diary about Vincent Goldman’s cold reputation and how he apparently would kill his own friends and colleagues if it meant a promotion.

The Daily Raccoon reports on sightings of a ‘ghost’ in the North Western region of Raccoon Forest. It is described as a mysterious masked figure and remains of crows and wild dogs have been showing up on riverbanks throughout the area. Long time residents believe it is the ghost of a patient from the nearby hospital that closed down in 1993.

The researcher at the Hunter development lab notes that a titanium frame has been installed to reinforce the experiment cultivation tanks to prevent further accidents.

Lott Klein visits his local arcade and sees some other children. They are all sleepy and one girl even slavers. Dressed in rags and smelling bad, Lott is told by his father and Commander Vincent that they are not Umbrella people and that Umbrella have brought them here so they can help them by operating on and making them ‘decent’ people.

The Young man imprisoned on Sheena Island realizes the Umbrella men are drugging their food and making them lose consciousness and act strangely. He needs to be more careful from now on.

RE3 – DIRECTOR’S DIARY
The Director at the Raccoon City hospital explains the symptoms of a strange disease some people have contracted recently including gangrene, congestion of the blood then mind deterioration. Once the patient’s mind is gone, they become flesh-hungry monsters and act like wild animals.

REOUT2 – DAILY RACCOON: SEPTEMBER 11TH
The Daily Raccoon runs a story about sightings of an enormous insect measuring an estimated 6 feet and sporting a formidable set of pincers in the western region of the Arklay Mountains. A group of campers were attacked by two or three of the beasts which injured their dog. However, 52-year old Graham Barrows, entomologist and assistant professor at Raccoon University, insists that no such creature could possibly exist, and puts the sightings down as nothing more than mass hysteria.

Brian Irons receives a receipt of all his illegal payments from Umbrella dating back to April 1996 and it totals over $100000. This receipt will eventually fall into the hands of reporter Ben Bertolucci.

A worker on the Raccoon underground notes how he can’t get used to working late and that he’s actually afraid of the dark. His colleague, Jim, says it shouldn’t matter what type of day it is as they are always underground.

Vice-President of the American branch Joel Allman writes to William Birkin requesting five cases of a compound known as APL-14 as there is currently a shortage. The Ashford base in the Antarctic is responsible for this shortage and steps are being taken to prevent this in the future. He also adds that the Ashford family’s reputation is irreparably tarnished.

REOUT1 – PETER’S DIARY
Peter obtains a ‘T’ sample from Greg and tests Daylight on it. Results prove to be not totally stable but do show signs of suppressing growth of the ‘T’ viral cell. He wonders just how Greg got the sample and doesn’t trust his explanation of how a friend secretly got him one.

The researcher reports that they have recently taken on a new subject; a smaller version of the regular hunter called the Hunter u. He also notes that the computer has reported insufficient power levels for proper containment. A cache of weapons is prepared for emergencies.

The new owner of the Apple Inn tells the janitor to check the alarm device every week from now on when he used to only do it twice a year. He doesn’t believe anyone would want to break in here.

Another patient is admitted to Raccoon Hospital, showing the first stages of T-Virus infection. He vows not to let his patients all become zombies and will fight to his death to find a cure.

Ricky gets bitten by a large bug while inspecting the tunnel. It swells up and itches like mad.

RE2X – OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS: SEPTEMBER 18TH-19TH
Christine Henri, the head of Umbrella’s French division of R and D orders elite agent Hunk of the Umbrella Special Service to infiltrate the Raccoon City labs and recover a G-Virus sample using any means necessary.

Dr. Birkin calls Chief Irons to urgently inform him that he has received information that Umbrella are to send spies into the city to steal his G-Virus. He orders Irons to search the city thoroughly and detain any suspicious individuals. He will not have his life’s work taken away from him.

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Birkin calls up his contact Colonel Franklin Hart in the US military. They were originally in contact as they had intended to purchase BOW from Umbrella but now Birkin will work directly for them himself if they can help get him out of the city. Desperate to obtain the G-Virus themselves, they jump at the opportunity.

RE2 – NIGHT WATCHMAN’S DIARY
The RPD night watchman meets Thomas, an old man who works at the sewage disposal plant behind the precinct and a keen chess player. They make plans to play the following night. The watchman wonders if Thomas has some kind of skin disease for he is forever scratching himself.

REOUT1 – PETER’S DIARY
Peter Jenkins realizes Greg has tricked him into making the Daylight vaccine as he is the only other one that knows how to make it and wonders if his life is in danger. He gets rid of the ‘T’ sample and hides the compound instructions. He will contact his friend George Hamilton at Raccoon Hospital.

REOUT2 – WONDERFUL LIFE: SEPTEMBER 20TH
Water service is limited throughout Raccoon City due to routine maintenance and inspection from 1AM to 6AM today. Citizens are only permitted to use 1/5 of their normal daily usage during these hours.

Andy hears rumors that the kids that are being brought to Sheena Island from all over the world are being savagely experimented on by Umbrella personnel under orders from Commander Goldman.

RE2 – PATROL REPORT: 9:30PM
RPD Sgt. Neil Carlsen investigates a report of a suspicious individual lurking around the sewers in the outskirts of Raccoon City. He locates the individual but he runs away before he can be questioned. Carlsen recovers some ammunition, An infrared scope and some plastic explosive.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY
The prisoner is taken to the nightclub and he overhears a conversation by some workers at the factory on the mountain. Apparently, all the kids brains are cut open and some sort of chemical is extracted. The boy is horrified and vows to sort his escape plan quickly.

RE2 – NIGHT WATCHMAN’S DIARY
The RPD night watchman is soundly beaten in his game of chess with Thomas.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY: SEPTEMBER 21ST
Another of the prisoners, Chin, is taken to the factory on the mountain and the young man knows he won’t be coming back.

REOUT1 – JANITOR’S DAILY REPORT
The janitor has a drink with Tom, the security guard, who grumbles about the new type of key card system installed in the rooms when the number lock on the south door should be enough.

REOUT1 - JANITOR’S DAILY REPORT: SEPTEMBER 22ND
The janitor brings Todd his card key which he left in the bathroom. When he suggests keeping it together with his daughter’s photo, Tom gets embarrassed. The janitor thinks he’sa bit of a jerk.

RE2 – GAME, REOUT1 - INTRO
In his private lab beneath Raccoon City, William Birkin is gloating over his completed G-Virus. At the same time, Hunk’s USS team make their way there through the sewers and burst in on the lab. Birkin is expecting them and tells them he won’t hand over his life’s work and so the team assassinate him. They retrieve a biohazard case containing both T and G samples before making their getaway.

As William lies dying on the floor, Annette Birkin comes rushing in to help. She goes to find something to treat his bullet wounds, but Birkin, knowing his consciousness is fading, injects himself with the G-Virus.

He instantly mutates into a creature with inhuman strength and tracks Hunks team down, decimating them. Only Hunk survives the attack, though he is badly injured and is knocked out. The Birkin monster then destroys all the samples in the case as a group of rats look on hungrily in the background.

RE2 – CHIEF’S DIARY: SEPTEMBER 23RD
Chief Irons is informed, probably through Annette, that Birkin has been killed and the G-Virus stolen by Umbrella. He must also know of the destroyed viral samples and he knows that soon, the entire city will become populated with flesh-eating zombies. He even believes he may be infected himself.

A few MA-125R Hunter test subjects escape their confinement and go on a killing spree in the underground lab.

RE2 – NIGHT WATCHMEN’S DIARY
The watchman reflects on his game with Thomas a few days ago. He remembers Thomas had a huge appetite as all he did was talk about food all through the game. He sounded healthy enough but he didn’t look right…

REOUT1-JANITOR’S DAILY REPORT
The janitor notes that the strange noise in the boiler room is getting louder and louder and he doubts re-tightening the bolts on the pipes will help. He’ll inform the owner next week.

REOUT1 – GUEST MEMO 3
A guest at the Apple Inn complains about a strange lighted map installed by the new owner in his room. It is keeping him awake. But he wants to stay in this room because it is where he and his late wife used to stay. The manager has given him a discount.

WESKER’S REPORT: SEPTEMBER 23RD-28TH
Wesker sees the impeding outbreak as an ideal opportunity to infiltrate Umbrella’s main labs beneath the city and steal a sample of the G-Virus. He is aware however that STARS members and police still lurk in the vicinity and so is forced to continue his ‘dead man’ role and stay in the shadows. Ada will be sent into the field, acting under Wesker’s orders. She slips into the city unnoticed.

RE3 – MARVIN’S REPORT: SEPTEMBER 24TH PRE-DAWN
RPD officer Marvin Brannagh files a report that a jewel-decorated clock at the main gate of Raccoon City’s municipal building was damaged before dawn and two of the twelve gems were stolen. Due to the lack of a=officers available at this time he has no choice but to suspend the case.

RE2 – CHIEF’S DIARY, RE - ARCHIVES
Chief Irons succeeds in his plan to spread confusion and disarray amongst the police. All escape routes have been cut off and he ensures that no help will arrive from the outside when the impeding zombie invasion occurs

RE2/RE3 – GAME, UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Zombies begin to show up sporadically in Raccoon City. As the day wears on they begin to grow in number, though not significant enough that the whole city becomes aware of them.

RE2 – OPERATION REPORT 1: SEPTEMBER 25TH
Brian Irons relocates all the weapons in the RPD building to prevent their possible theft in any attack, putting the officers at a severe disadvantage in the process.

REOUT1 – OUTBREAK
There is a riot at today’s football game featuring the Raccoon Sharks in which a man started going crazy in the crowd.

REOUT2 – EMERGENCY ORDERS A
The RPD begin to plan their attack by setting up barricades and rigging the town square with bombs to help prevent the spread of infection. Six officers, including Elliot, Harry and Edward, will execute the plan today from 7pm.

REOUT2 – EMERGENCY ORDERS B
From 7pm, two officers, Raymond and Dorian will be in charge of conducting the evacuation of citizens to predetermined locales. They are to inform uncooperative citizens that they cannot guarantee their safety.

THE RACCOON CITY INCIDENT: 25TH SEP-2ND OCT 1998

REOUT1 – OUTBREAK: SEPTEMBER 25TH: INTRO: DUSK
After a long, hard day at work, seven members of Raccoon City’s populace are chilling out at J’s bar in the centre of town. They are RPD Officer Kevin Ryman, Security Guard Mark Wilkins and his colleague Bob, subway worker Jim Chapman, journalist Alyssa Ashcroft, plumber David King and Doctor George Hamilton.

Suddenly, a skinny Japanese girl named Yoko Suzuki comes rushing in and begins to frantically cut her hair in the toilets and one of the bar’s waitresses, Cindy Lennox, screams and drops a glass as a rat runs across the floor.

A few minutes later, someone drunkenly staggers into the bar. The bartender named Will goes over to help but the drunken man is actually a zombie and he is bitten. A struggle breaks out as Will frantically pushes him out of the bar and locks the door.

REOUT1 – OUTBREAK: GAME
The people inside the bar panic as more zombies appear at the window and begin to lean on the door, eventually managing to force the door open. The undead surge into the bar, and dive on Will, who is paralyzed with fear and devour him.
The others scatter, some including Cindy and Jim escape out of the door before Kevin, an off-duty cop who has failed the STARS selection process twice, takes out his gun and shoots the zombie. Mark Wilkins frantically barricades the door with some barrels. David assists Bob, an injured colleague of Mark’s.

As the zombies battle through the barrier, the four of them escape upstairs. They find a nail gun and barricade the doorway. They manage to fight their way to the roof where they are attacked by infected crows. Bob succumbs to the T-Virus and collapses. Mark reluctantly puts a bullet in him.

Kevin kicks down a weak section of the safety fence and they jump across to the next building, a vacant apartment block.
Meanwhile, an RPD squad car arrives in the main street. Officer Raymond announces on his speaker for everyone to assemble at his checkpoint as the area is being evacuated due to ongoing riots.

In the apartment they find a working elevator and take it down to the street where the police are fighting back the zombies.
Mark and Kevin roll a police car forward to make yet another barricade while Raymond blasts through a gate with a shotgun for an escape route. They don’t get far however when they are ambushed. They spot a fuel truck nearby, but Raymond is killed. Kevin releases the fuel and blows up the zombies. Driven back by the heat, Kevin, Mark and David are forced to jump into the canal and into the sewers.

Surprisingly however, the sewers are clear and they emerge at the other side on the main street outside the Apple Inn. Injured survivors are gathered here waiting for evacuation. They are picked up by Dorian and he prepares to drive them back to the RPD.

REOUT2 – EVACUATION ORDER
Whilst stumbling around in the streets, Cindy Lennox and Jim Chapman come across an evacuation note from the RPD stating that evacuation helicopters will be scrambled to locations throughout the city. The nearest one to their present location will be at the tram terminal at the front gate of Raccoon Zoo. They decide to make their way there.

REOUT1 – HELLFIRE: INTRO
Meanwhile, George, Yoko and Alyssa managed to escape out of the bar before the zombies gathered outside and took shelter inside the nearby Apple Inn hotel. As they enter the courtyard, a pair of firemen are investigating the inn’s boiler room when they suddenly realize it is going to explode. The firemen do not make it out in time as the whole boiler explodes, setting the hotel ablaze.

REOUT1 – HELLFIRE: GAME
As they battle through the thick smoke and flames, they are attacked by zombies and creatures called Lickers, including a rare type named Regis which has nested in the main lobby, blocking their escape.

Eventually they manage to kill it and look on in relief as rescue workers arrive and bash the door in for them to escape.
The firemen tell them that the whole city is burning.

REOUT1 – OUTBREAK: GAME
Meanwhile, the police van ferrying the J’s bar survivors doesn’t make it to the RPD as there are too many barricades blocking the roads. They have to get out and continue on foot near the Raccoon Mall. Some of the survivors are too weak and frightened to move and stay at the van with the cop. Kevin, Mark and David tool up on weapons and continue on alone.
However, just as they are crossing the main bridge they see thousands upon thousands of zombies; all struggling to get over a barrier where three desperate policemen are trying to set up a bomb. The zombies break through and two of the cops Edward and Elliot are killed. The third cop, Harry, panics and retreats. Kevin leaps into the fray and activates the detonator, blowing the zombie army to hell in a spectacular explosion.

Eventually, the RPD arrive in force and cordon off the whole area. The survivors are taken back to the police station after meeting up with those from the Apple Inn.

REOUT2 – WILD THINGS: INTRO
On the outskirts of Raccoon Zoo, the streets are riddled with animal corpses. Some killed by zombies, others killed by something more dangerous. At the centre of one of the main streets lies the carcass of a rhinoceros with zombies feeding off it when they are attacked by the huge form of a zombified elephant from the zoo named Oscar.

RE2 – NIGHT WATCHMAN’S DIARY: SEPTEMBER 26 PRE-DAWN
The Night Watchman is scheduled to play another game of chess with Thomas but they have to cancel because Thomas isn’t feeling well. The watchman notes how the old man literally looked like one of the living dead and ponders that he hasn’t been feeling too good himself lately.

REOUT2 – WILD THINGS: GAME: PRE-DAWN
Cindy Lennox and Jim Chapman have reached Raccoon Zoo’s rear gate. It looks ominous, with some unnerving sounds coming form within, clearly the animals have become infected also. The gate is padlocked but the code is written on the other side enabling them to unlock the door and enter, Jim commenting that its unlikely there will be any ‘hotties’ waiting for him inside.

The zoo is deserted, not even a single zombie walking round. However, they don’t get far when a distant rumbling suddenly becomes louder until Titan bashes through the back gate, completely destroying it in a thunderous charge. Jim is thrown back and looks for Cindy but her lifeless body lies on the floor, crushed to death. Jim takes off, running as fast as he can.
Eventually he reaches the sanctuary of the office but Titan is still after him and the beast attacks the windows with its trunk, pulling out a hapless survivor.

Jim moves on, battling zombie hyenas and flying bugs past the Elephant Stage and through the Terrarium Dome. He also has to swim his way through a pond containing a deadly crocodile before he reaches the Observation Deck. From in there he can see the sub station where the rescue chopper is due to land and in one of the cupboards is a powerful hunting rifle.
Despite the tragic loss of Cindy, Jim eventually reaches the front gate plaza but there is a surprise waiting for him in the form of a male zombie lion named Stalker. Fortunately, Jim is able to kill it with his rifle. But there is no sign of any rescue helicopter. Dejected, Jim has nothing else to do but board the streetcar alone and head into town.

REOUT – OUTBREAK EPILOGUE: EARLY MORNING , RE3 – REPORTER’S MEMO
The army have been called in to counteract the ongoing crisis in Raccoon City. A cover story has been put in place that a large volume of nuclear waste has leaked out of the city. The city is completely sealed off.

RE2 – OPERATION REPORT 1: MORNING
The RPD building is suddenly attacked by a large number of zombies. Many are injured and even more killed. During the attack, all the communications equipment is destroyed.

REOUT1 – RESEARCHER’S WILL
The escaped Hunters in the underground lab have killed at least 10 people. The researcher himself has been badly injured also. All he can do now if destroy the lab temperature controls. Once the temperature reaches zero degrees the Hunters should be frozen in their tracks, it’s the only way to stop them. The researcher curses his foolishness and denotes that they had no right to play God.

RE3 – MARVIN’S REPORT: 10:00AM
A restaurant owner takes shelter in the RPD building but is shot to death after he develops symptoms of T-Virus infection. Marvin notes how he found one of the missing clock tower gems on the body. The gem will be kept as evidence.

RE2 – OPERATION REPORT 1
The RPD launch an operation to rescue any survivors and halt the spread of the virus outside of Raccoon City. The first priority is to secure all the weapon caches scattered across the station and find the missing officer with the card key to the weapons storage, where a large quantity of guns still remain.

RE3 – DIRECTOR’S DIARY
During a battle against the increasing number of zombie patients, most of the doctors and staff are killed. The Director also knows it is too late for him as he is infected.

REOUT2 – UNDERBELLY: INTRO: DAY
Jim Chapman is running frantically down the main streets, he knew he shouldn’t have come this way! The zombies are everywhere and he doesn’t know where to turn. In a panic he turns to the one place he recognizes; the comforting darkness of the Raccoon City underground.

REOUT2 – UNDERBELLY: GAME
Because he works down here, Jim knows his way around the underground and he has an employee key that allows him access to restricted areas. There are a few zombies down here but the biggest threat comes in the form of the Giga Bite a huge insect like creature that spawns off smaller versions of itself. Using his first hand knowledge, Jim manages to evade it and escapes via an underground emergency exit, perfecting a route on foot than escaping via another train. AT least now he can get back to the surface.

RE3 – DAVID’S MEMO
David Ford records how he panicked when zombies overran the police station and that Meyer, one of their better marksmen came back to help him. But when the time came to repay the debt, Ford froze up and let him die. His screams still haunt him now.

RE2 – CHIEF’S DIARY
Chief Irons has a change of heart and decides to hunt down the remaining survivors in the station himself. He finds Officer Ed and shoots him coldly through the heart. Irons has clearly lost it now as he notes how the dying man’s expression was positively exquisite. He now plans to track down the mayor’s daughter and claim her as a trophy.

REOUT1 – THE HIVE: INTRO: NIGHT
After scattering from the chaos in the police station, George leads Yoko and Alyssa to the Raccoon Hospital, believing it to be safe. Unfortunately, the place is soon surrounded by zombies. One of the few surviving doctors named Hursh explains that the hospital isn’t as safe as it may appear. The power has gone down.

REOUT1 – THE HIVE: GAME
They follow Hursh into the next room where he tries to fix the power and after doing so, he is attacked by a leech-zombie, last seen at the Umbrella Training Facility in Raccoon Forest some months ago. It kills Hursh coldly and seems to be attracted to the sight of blood. Their weapons have no effect on the leech man and it stalks them through the hospital and George uses blood packs to throw it off their scent.

The bowels of the hospital house a secret Umbrella lab where they find an investigation request by an Umbrella official which states that the leeches seem to be coming from the sewer and even though they are a variant of the T-Virus they seem different to the ones James Marcus was associated with. They lure the leech into the heat intensifying room and pump up the temperature, killing the leech and leaving behind the body of its unfortunate victim.

With the hospital surrounded, they decide to leave through the sewer network. Yoko knows a route through the sewers to William Birkin’s underground lab complex and perhaps they can make their way there and escape. Sure enough, they find a boat used to ferry hospital researchers to and from the lab, tied up on the dock and waiting for them.

Once they set off however, they encounter the source of all the leeches, the queen, nested up ahead and blocking their path. She destroys their boat and they manage to kill it by shooting overhead pipes dousing it in hot water then luring it alongside and blowing up a gas tank.

Barely alive, Yoko begins to lead them slowly onwards through the waist-deep filth towards the laboratory.

RE3 – MERCENARY’S POCKETBOOK: LATE NIGHT, RE3 - INTRO
UBCS teams are deployed throughout Raccoon City with a mission to rescue any civilians. However, the mission goes bad from the minute they land.

RE3 – INTRO: SEPTEMBER 27TH: EARLY AM, RE - ARCHIVES
RPD Select member and other officers make a stand on the streets and a huge fire fight ensues. However, the sheer number of the zombies is too great and they are defeated. The surviving police officers retreat to the police station where they are trapped.

RE3 - INTRO
A UBCS team are wiped out at the hospital. George’s party however, have already left through the sewers.

REOUT1 – BELOW FREEZING POINT: INTRO
In the city’s underground complex, an Umbrella researcher is shot by a woman in one of the labs. She wipes his blood of the storage tank and stares at what is inside; a G-Virus parasite that had rejected its host due to incompatibility. The woman mouths to herself that there is no turning back now but it will all be worth it in the end. She takes the sample, safely sealing it away in a portable capsule in a protective briefcase.

REOUT1 – BELOW FREEZING POINT: GAME
After escaping the hospital spending a horrible night wading through the sewers, Yoko, George and Alyssa have arrived at the underground lab complex and emerge onto the train platform.

The woman who stole the G sample embryo is in the train’s control room and is trying to get it started, but it won’t work due to loss of electric pressure. She decides to find another way and exits the train where she bumps into Yoko’s party. Yoko recognizes her as Monica, and Monica sheers back that she didn’t expect Yoko to return here. Yoko wants to know what is in the capsule and Monica is paranoid, believing Yoko to want to steal it. She takes Yoko’s ID card, before leaving them on the platform.

Climbing up the elevator shaft, they crawl through a ventilation duct and emerge into the main lab. They see a huge mutated plant has made a home here.

Meanwhile, Monica has reached the turntable platform but it won’t work, due to the extremely cold temperatures. As she moans about everything being broken she is attacked from behind by an unknown assailant.

As Yoko’s party explore the lab, they discover that the temperature has been lowered to slow down the BOW that have been running loose. Eerie frozen statues of Hunters are dotted about the place.

They find the turn table car but its controls are frozen and the only way to activate it is to raise the temperature. Yoko and Alyssa nervously keep watch as George thaws out the climate control system with a blowtorch. After deactivating it, the lab instantly becomes warmer and the Hunters wake up.

Dashing back to the turntable, they activate the mechanism and wait for it to descend to their level, fighting off the zombies as they come.

Monica suddenly reappears but is in pain and collapses unconscious by the turntable. Her specimen capsule has been smashed open.

Yoko, Alyssa and George finally take the turntable up as far below, Monica’s body convulses and the G-Embryo bursts out of her chest and begins to crawl up the elevator shaft.

When it reaches the surface, it grows in size and attacks the survivors. Yoko activates the train and the G mutant is smashed head on by the transport, killing it indefinitely. The three battered survivors board the train and head out toward Raccoon Forest and the city limits.

RE2 – OPERATION REPORT 1: 1PM
David Ford reports that the west barricade in the RPD building is broken through and twelve more people are killed in the ensuring battle. The injured are sheltered temporarily in the confiscation room on the first floor.

RE2 – ADDITIONAL REPORT
A Licker makes its first appearance in the police station, killing three more people.

RE3 – DAVID’S MEMO
An officer uses whiskey to calm his nerves and keeps his Mossberg shotgun handy. He knows everything is futile and their planned emergency meeting in three hours in the meeting room will be pointless. He decides to shoot himself as soon as he finishes his bottle.

RE3 – MERCENARY’S POCKETBOOK
A platoon of UBCS survivors manage to reach the ST. Michael clock tower, which is a designated extraction point for survivors. But they only managed by robbing the wounded of their weapons and using the surviving citizens as decoys. Inside, a surviving girl goes over to him, she looks just like the mercenary’s sister before she died.

REOUT2 – DESPERATE TIMES: INTRO: DUSK
It is early evening and the sky glows an eerie red from all the fires burning in the city. The front gate of the RPD is being siege by zombies, blocking any escape. Inside the station is almost deserted as many of the officers have been killed or are out fighting the zombies in the streets.

Inside the eastern office, four officers including Marvin Brannagh and Rita are studying plans of the police station’s design. Marvin points out that when the station used to be an art gallery in the late 80’s there were some secret ventilation ducts located underground which they could use to escape, although they are so small that only Rita may be able to fit through. But she can bring back help and they can all escape together.

REOUT2 – DESPERATE TIMES: GAME
RPD Officer Kevin Ryman, security guard Mark Wilkins and plumber David King have been sheltering here since the initial outbreak at J’s bar on the night of the 25th. Kevin meets up with Marvin in the main lobby, who tells him that the survivors have taken up positions throughout the building and that they have to protect the station. Rita is at the computer. She asks where Kevin has been all this time. They split up to search the station. The surviving officers have taken up key defensive positions throughout the precinct. One officer in the reception room tells Kevin he will go to the kennels and get the dogs before they leave. They get a brief glimpse of a licker climbing outside the window. Kevin also finds a secret file locked away in the basement which implies that Police Chief Brian Irons has been receiving large amounts of money over the last few years. However, the Chief is nowhere to be found, the entrance to his office has been blocked off. It turns out that the file belongs to a reporter who is locked up in the cells called Ben Bertolucci. It seems he is building up a case on the Chief. In the western office, Mark finds a resume addressed to Chief Irons by Leon S. Kennedy, a new recruit who is due to arrive on Sep 29th whom Kevin and Rita are supposed to train up.

Meanwhile, Marvin and Rita have raised the statue in the main hall revealing the secret ventilation shaft. Marvin reckons that it is so narrow it will take her at least an hour to get through. He gives her a radio to keep in touch; she promises she will be back as soon as possible with help.

Meanwhile, Kevin and the others try to hunt down some of the weapon caches’ that have been mysteriously scattered around the station while Marvin sits dejected on the steps of the main hall, waiting to see if Rita will call.

In the parking garage, Kevin, Mark and David manage to raise the shutters leading to the outside. They find a tooled up SWAT van halfway up the ramp. The driver is dead yet they arm up on heavy weaponry.

Meanwhile, Marvin has almost given up hope when the radio crackles. Rita is okay and she has got help in the form of a police van. She says she will back it up to the front gate, but due to the large numbers of undead, she won’t be able to stay there long. Marvin tells her to hurry. He goes out of the front door and immediately the zombies behind the gate become more agitated, a couple of them are starting to break through.

Kevin and the others hurry back to him and as they get outside, Marvin is bitten by a zombie. They kill it and he tells them he got careless but Rita is on her way back with help. He races back to the main hall and calls over the speaker system for all the survivors to gather at the front gates ready for evacuation, but no one comes, are they all dead?

Meanwhile, outside the front entrance, Kevin is keeping watch when the gate gives way and the zombie army pile through. Kevin, David and Mark open fire with their automatic weapons. Suddenly, Rita’s van arrives and backs up to the gate. She throws the back door open, waving them on. Kevin, Mark and David climb aboard, but Marvin is nowhere to be seen. Elliot, the driver, is beginning to panic as the zombies draw nearer.

Suddenly, Marvin appears at the doorway, he is badly wounded and there are zombies in the hall behind him. He tells them to go, but Rita won’t leave him. She tries to jump out but Kevin stops her and Eric drives off.

Rita is in tears but Kevin consoles her, saying Marvin is a good officer and it will take more than a few zombies to finish him off.

Marvin manages to shut the zombies outside and kills the rest in the main hall. He takes shelter in the western office on the first floor, where he loses consciousness…

RE2 – OPERATION REPORT 2: SEPTEMBER 28TH: 2:30AM
Elliot Edward reports that zombies have overrun the operation room and another battle breaks out. David Ford and three other officers are killed in the fight. There are only four survivors left now in the whole precinct and they agree to escape through the sewers. In order to buy more time, they lock the door leading to the basement as they doubt the zombies have the intelligence to find the key and unlock the door. Elliot also realizes that the sewers may not be safe, but it’s better than staying here and waiting to die.

RE3 – GAME: PRE-DAWN
Up in her apartment building, ex-STARS Alpha member Jill Valentine is tired of waiting. She’s watched the city crumble to pieces over the last few days and now its time to make her escape. She grabs her gun and goes downstairs where outside she finds the zombies waiting for her. With there being too many to kill outright, Jill barges open an alleyway door and retreats to the relative safety of a warehouse. It is secure inside and there is a hysterical survivor called Dario Rosso already taking shelter here. Jill keeps watch by the window waiting for an ideal opportunity for them to make their escape.

RE3 – MERCENARY’S DIARY: DAWN
A UBCS mercenary has lost the will to survive and now wishes he had been executed. He decides to shoot himself and prays that his body will not rise up and walk again.

RE3 – MERCENARY’S POCKETBOOK
RE3 - GAME
The mercenaries in the clock tower want to evacuate immediately but the girl doesn’t want to. Apparently her father refuses to leave the city where his wife rests in peace. The merc really wants to save the girl but his colleague, Campbell, insists they only worry about their lives. The clock tower has become a dangerous place as the zombies have closed in and he doesn’t want to make any more mistakes.

REOUT2: FLASHBACK: GAME: AFTERNOON
George, Yoko and Alyssa have reached Raccoon Forest via the turn table train. Knowing the rail route will eventually be barricaded off due to the military blockades surrounding the city, they have decided they have a better chance of escaping on foot. They have been sheltering in an old hut with a man who lives there called Al. He offers to lead them on a route through the forest to the neighboring town but instead leads them to an old, abandoned hospital which had closed down in 1993.
He then promptly vanishes.

The three survivors enter the hospital and find it completely empty. However, after more searching around a man breaks down one of the doors. He has a sack over his head, wields a huge axe and immediately begins to chase them. George fends him off, allowing Yoko and Alyssa to escape. Alyssa keeps having flashbacks to something terrible that happened here a long time ago. They move on, and discover a huge plant rooted in the basement of a hospital. They also uncover evidence that the hospital’s closure was due to some illegal experiments performed by Umbrella.

They are eventually reunited with George who has managed to evade the crazy man with the axe.

The huge plant is hindering their progress however and they make up some chemicals to kill it. Unfortunately, the plant had been holding the whole structure stable and now that it is dead the hospital begins to fall apart. They begin their escape only to meet the axe man again. Alyssa realizes the man is Al and he is angry more than ever now as he believed the plant was the reincarnation of his dead wife, and that all the recent murders around here were down to him, feeding the bodies to the plant in order to keep it strong. She bravely distracts him long enough for George and Yoko to get out but then the building collapses, killing Alyssa and Al who were still inside.

George and Yoko stare in disbelief at the wreckage. There is nothing left for them now than to turn around and head back to the city. They have to find shelter somewhere and the forest is not safe. Perhaps the police station was their best bet after all.

RE3 – GAME: MORNING.
Jill has been holed up at the warehouse for quite some time now and at last it appears safe to move out but Dario refuses to go with her having just lost his daughter to the zombies and locks himself away in a storage locker. He won’t come out so Jill unlocks the warehouse door and leaves alone. The streets are quiet, with only a few zombies lurking and she conserves ammo by dodging round them.

The silence is broken by gunshots and she spots a survivor who looks familiar. But he runs off before she can catch him.
She tracks him to Bar Jack, where he turns out to be none other than STARS Alpha member Brad Vickers, the only other STARS member left in the city. He is hysterical, saying that the city is dead because the police are not trained to deal with this kind of situation. He warns her that something is chasing them; something designed specifically to kill the surviving STARS members. With these chilling words, he runs off and leaves Jill alone and bewildered in the bar.

Jill decides to head towards the precinct to find out more information and grab her lock picking tools. She meets up with Brad at the front gate whom is badly wounded and now seems eager to team up with her. Suddenly however, a dark shape drops down between them. This is the Nemesis, Umbrella’s latest creation. Jill is awestruck and powerless to do anything as the creature grabs Brad and spikes him through the face with a virus-encrusted tentacle. Tossing his useless body away, it turns towards Jill and unnervingly mutters the word STARS, who runs for the door and only just makes it in time. The Nemesis bangs relentlessly at the door and Jill runs through the station before it breaks through.

In the precinct, Jill finds most of the doors have been solidly barricaded. One of the last surviving officers, Marvin Brannagh, is unconscious and mortally wounded in the western office, she cannot wake him up. She moves on and reaches the STARS office. It has been trashed and someone has been rifling through Wesker’s desk. Jill grabs her lock pick. She also searches the locker for guns and takes some medical supplies from Rebecca’s desk and some ammunition from Barry’s.

As she leaves the communications console lights up and she catches a garbled transmission from a UBCS member. She then leaves the station with the Nemesis hot on her tail.

RE2 – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Chief Irons finally comes out of hiding and rips down all the barricades in the RPD.

RE3 – GAME: NIGHT
Jill makes her way downtown and enters a restaurant, where she bumps into a UBCS member named Carlos Oliveria. They don’t have time to talk for long however, as the Nemesis has found her once more. They hide from it in the basement and escape onto the street via a ventilation duct.

Carlos explains his position to Jill and asks her to join him but Jill is livid scoffing that Umbrella is the cause of all this mess in the first place. Carlos is unrepentant, saying that they are just hired hands of Umbrella and don’t know the details. All they have been told is to rescue the civilians. He asks her to think it over before running off into the night.

Jill stops off at the newspaper office before passing the municipal building and reaching the cable car station. Inside the car, she meets Nicholai Ginoveaf, a Commander for the UBCS. He asks her how she managed to survive and is surprised when she says she is a STARS member. She also meets Mikhail Viktor, but he has been badly wounded in an attack though doesn’t appear to be infected. Carlos reappears and asks Jill if she has decided to help them out. Nicholai retorts that they cannot trust her but Carlos thinks they need all the help they can get. Nicholai reluctantly agrees and they go over the plan. They will use the cable car as a moving barricade to navigate through the bad areas and reach the clock tower where they will signal a rescue helicopter. Unfortunately they need three components to get the trolley working and so they split up to find them.

Jill visits the gas station to find some oil for the trolley and it appears Nicholai has the same idea as he enters minutes later. However, whilst he inspects the back rooms a cable starts sparking and ignites a huge explosion, setting a large part of the station on fire. Jill has no choice but to get out of there and she only just makes it as the fire reaches the fuel and the whole place goes up in a colossal inferno. As she looks back at the smoking ruin there was surely no hope for Nicholai.
She takes the oil back to the cable car and finds Mikhail out on the street, fending off a group of zombies. After using a grenade to take them all out, he collapses exhausted onto the street. Jill helps him back up inside and tells him to rest. Once he is comfortable, she heads off once more.

She has another encounter with Nemesis outside the electrical station where she picks up a fuse and in the garage she finds a jump lead.

Meanwhile, Carlos has reached Umbrella’s Sales Office, where he runs into another UBCS survivor and his close friend, Murphy Seeker. Murphy is badly injured and in the latter stages of T-Virus infection. He pleads with Carlos to kill him as Jill enters the office behind him. Carlos can’t do it but the look on Murphy’s face is agonizing. Carlos closes his eyes and blows Murphy away. As Jill looks on Carlos is too distraught to speak to her and runs out of the office almost in tears. Jill enters the storeroom at the back of the office and grabs some more oil just as a zombie army breaks into the office. Fortunately she has enough manpower to fend them off and escape back towards the cable car.

RE – ARCHIVES
Leon S. Kennedy is staying at a motel close to Raccoon City as he is due to start work there tomorrow. He goes to a party and gets drunk to forget about the pain of breaking up with his girlfriend.

RE3 - GAME
When Jill gets back to the trolley she finds Carlos and Mikhail waiting for her and she tells them Nicholai is dead. They then begin their journey towards the clock tower. They haven’t got far however when they hear a muffled scream from Mikhail in the back. Jill goes to check on him and sees that the Nemesis has arrived. Together, Jill and Mikhail manage to temporarily knock it down but it soon rises again and Mikhail tells Jill to get out of the cable car. She doesn’t want to but reluctantly leaves Mikhail alone to face down the monster.

His bullets hardly slow it down and his rifle runs dry. Nemesis picks him up and smashes him against the window before knocking him down to the floor. As it leers over him for the finishing blow, Mikhail produces a grenade and pops the pin, blowing the second car up and knocking the Nemesis off the train. The explosion has damaged the remaining car however and they cannot slow it down. Jill dives out of the window as the trolley smashes into the clock tower wall.

RE3 – GAME: SEPTEMBER 29TH: EARLY AM
Jill gets groggily at her feet and sees that they have somehow arrived at their destination. Inside the clock tower appears to be deserted and Jill finds many corpses of civilians and UBCS soldiers, they never did get evacuated after all. She runs into Carlos again who is still alive yet has given up on all hope of rescue and for this Jill gives him a smack. They concentrate on activating the bell to signal the helicopter.

They finally manage it and Jill is ecstatic when the helicopter comes into view, believing it to be finally over. Her hopes are dashed however, when the Nemesis appears, still alive and shoots down the chopper with its rocket launcher. It then jumps down into the courtyard to face Jill, who this time has nowhere to go. It shoots out its tentacle, puncturing Jill’s shoulder. She collapses just as Carlos arrives to save her. He drives the Nemesis back with some severe firepower as it tries to get a bead on him with its rocket launcher. The blast just misses him, though the shockwave knocks him flying. Carlos continues to shoot until the Nemesis is forced to retreat where it collapses into the fiery wreckage of the chopper and is consumed by the flames. Carlos runs over to Jill’s unconscious form but she does not wake up. He carries her into the clock tower.

RE2 – GAME: MORNING
Claire Redfield, college student and younger sister of Chris, gets onto her motorbike and begins the long journey towards Raccoon City, determined to find her brother as she has not heard from him for a long time.

RE2 – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
With the death toll rising and reported survivors at a minimum, the US army begin to disassemble the barricades on some of the minor routes leading into the city.

RE – ARCHIVES: DUSK
Leon S. Kennedy is due to start his new job as a Raccoon City Police Officer today. However he oversleeps due to being hung over from a party the previous night and doesn’t set off for the city until after sunset. En route he tries to contact his superior officer but cannot get a response.

RE2 – CLAIRE INTRO: NIGHT
Claire reaches Raccoon City and stops off at Emmy’s diner for something to eat.

RE2 – LEON INTRO
Leon also reaches down and finds it eerily deserted. Up ahead he sees some crows on the floor and as he gets closer realizes there is a body on the floor. He gets out to investigate.

RE2 – INTRO
At a nearby gas station, a truck driver stops off for fuel and is attacked by the proprietor who bites him on the arm. The truck driver throws him out of the window before continuing on his way, bleeding badly.

RE2 – LEON INTRO
The body is a mess, horribly mutilated. Leon suddenly hears a noise behind him and whirls round to see several zombies advancing on him. He warns them off with his gun before the body he was just inspecting comes to life and tries to bite him. He shoots them and retreats towards an alley, bullets only slowing them down.

RE2 – CLAIRE INTRO
The diner is deserted, until Claire finds the manager eating the corpse of one of his customers. The zombie reaches for her with skeletal fingers and she runs for the back exit. Opening the door she finds herself staring into the barrel of Leon’s gun. He tells her to get down as he kills the manager with a headshot. He helps her up and says they have to get to the police station where it will be safe.

They spot a parked squad car on the road and set off towards the city centre as the zombies close in. The car radio is out and they introduce themselves to each other, Claire telling Leon she is looking for her brother Chris.

As they screech round a corner, they see a tanker truck following them rather erratically close behind. Looking in the glove box, Claire finds a 9mm which Leon tells her to take with her. Suddenly, he is attacked by a zombie which had been hiding in the back seat all along. The car swerves from side to side as Leon frantically tries to keep control whilst keeping the zombie away from his neck. Eventually they crash into a signpost and the zombie is hurtled through the windscreen. Before they can catch their breath however, they see the tanker bearing down on them, its driver now fully transformed into a zombie. They manage to get out of the squad car before the tanker smashes into it, blowing up in spectacular fashion.
Claire and Leon both survive, yet they are separated from each other by the fire. Leon calls for her to head for the police station and that he will meet her there.

RE2 – LEON A GAME
Leon begins to run through the wrecked streets of Raccoon City, dodging the zombies as he goes. He reaches the relative safety of a local gun shop where he meets Robert Kendo who nearly blows his head off with a shotgun until he realizes Leon is human. Kendo locks the door but says he doesn’t have a clue what is going on or where the zombies have come from. All the guns from the shop are long gone but Kendo says Leon should be safe here. Unfortunately however, four zombies suddenly smash through the windows and devour the hapless gun shop owner. Leon cannot help him and so leaves through the back door.

RE2 – CLAIRE B GAME
Claire makes her way through the streets of Raccoon and soon reaches the back entrance of the police department. Climbing up a metal staircase she reaches the helipad where a surviving policeman is frantically trying to signal a rescue helicopter. The chopper’s pilot drops a rope ladder but the cop is attacked by two zombies and eaten. His rifle goes off spasmodically and hits the chopper pilot, causing the helicopter to crash into the water tower by the helipad and burst into flames. Once the smoke clears, Claire enters the station.

RE2 – LEON A GAME
Leon moves on, even going through a bus full of corpses to get through a barricade. The bodies of fallen police officers litter the floor. Inside the RPD gate, he has to take down a zombie of the late STARS Alpha officer Brad Vickers. He enters the station to find it deserted, not a single person in the whole lobby. This is not a good sign. He begins a search of the station.

RE2 – GAME
WESKER’S REPORT
An unmarked helicopter hovers over the RPD building. Underneath, a steel crate houses six pressure canisters. One is dropped down towards the RPD. The canister opens to reveal a new type of tyrant, codenamed Mr. X. Its mission is to locate missing samples of the G-Virus.

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
RE3 – CLASSIFIED PHOTO FILE
The helicopter then makes its way to the Dead Factory to deploy the other tyrants, where a US Special Forces team are waiting to rendezvous with William Birkin, unaware he is already dead. A huge battle breaks out and the tyrants are killed by an experimental rail cannon the US troops have brought with them. Even though the tyrants are destroyed, the soldiers are all wiped out.

RE2 – LEON A GAME
Leon enters the western office where he finds it trashed and blood splattered everywhere. However, there is a survivor, Marvin Brannagh. He is wounded. He explains that the zombies are a result of Umbrella’s illegal experiments, and that the STARS team discovered this over two months ago, yet no one believed them. Now all the remaining STARS members have disappeared. Marvin is too injured to move and he asks Leon to search for survivors in the other rooms. He gives him a key card and tells him to go, Leon promising he will come back for him.

RE2 – CLAIRE B GAME
Claire confronts the mysterious Mr X on the second floor and decides she is best keeping away from him. She makes for the STARS office, hoping to find out about Chris’ whereabouts there. Leon is already there waiting for he and presents her with Chris’ diary which he found on his desk. It appears he has not been in the city for quite some time. Leon hands her a radio and suggests they split up, look for any survivors and get out of there. He leaves her to look over Chris’ desk.

RE2 – FEDERAL POLICE INTERNAL INVESTIGATION REPORT
A fax addressed to Chris Redfield comes through to the STARS office describing the results of an FBI investigation into Brian Irons and possible invention of a ‘G-Virus’ by Umbrella Corp. It concludes that Chief Irons has a bad history with allegations of rape and bribery whilst they cannot confirm if the G-Virus even exists.

RE2 – LEON A GAME
Leon makes his way back downstairs to check on Marvin and arrives just in time to witness the dying officer turn into a zombie and attack him. Leon puts him out of his misery before moving on.

RE2 – LEON B GAME
Leon makes his way up to the second floor and searches the library. Moving on, he runs into a little girl. She is frightened of him and runs away. He gives chase but she escapes through a hole under a blocked off door. The hole is too small for Leon to squeeze through so he gives up. Walking back up the corridor he bumps into Claire once more. She asks him about the girl and Leon says she has run off. Claire replies she will go and look for her and tells him to find them a way out. They split up once more.

RE2 – CLAIRE A
Whilst searching around, Claire hears a female scream coming from behind a blocked off area and uses some plastic explosive to blow her way through. She then enters Chief Iron’s office and finds a dead girl slumped over his desk. Chief Irons himself spins round on his chair and nearly blows her head off until he sees she’s not infected. He explains the body belongs to that of the mayor’s daughter whom he was supposed to look after, but he has obviously failed. He asks to be left alone and Claire continues her search for the little girl, eventually catching up with her in the back rooms of the Chief’s private chambers where he keeps his art collection. It appears her name is Sherry Birkin and she was told to come here by her mother who works at an Umbrella lab. Sherry is looking for her dad. Suddenly, a huge roar echoes round the building and Sherry takes off in a panic before Claire can grab her.

RE2 – LEON A
Leon investigates the RPD basement and runs into another survivor; an oriental woman named Ada Wong. She is apparently looking for a reporter named Ben Bertolucci who has information about her boyfriend, a missing Umbrella employee named John.

After moving a SWAT van blocking the entrance to the cells, they find that Ben has locked himself up, believing it to be the only safe place from all the monsters. He doesn’t want to leave the cell until they secure a way out.

RE2 – CLAIRE A
Claire finds Sherry hiding in the depths of the RPD. Claire waits for her while she squeezes through a ventilation shaft.

RE2 – LEON B
Leon finds Ada and they eventually come to a dead end where Leon lifts Ada up so she can crawl through a ventilation duct. At the other side, she drops down and runs into Sherry, who drops her pendant and runs away. Ada decides to hold onto it for her.

After avoiding some Cerberus dogs, Ada finds the vital key she needs and tosses it back up to Leon. Unfortunately she can’t reach the vent shaft anymore and has to find another way around. She’ll catch up to him later.

Leon heads back up into the station to search for the other keys they need to escape, bumping into Mr X more than once.

RE2 – CLAIRE B
After searching the precinct top to bottom, Claire finds Sherry again in the Chief’s office where they discover a secret passage leading to an elevator. Claire tells Sherry to wait whilst she goes on ahead and meets Irons in his torture chamber. He tells her that Sherry’s father is none other than William Birkin, the creator of the G-Virus and responsible for this whole mess. Irons is about to shoot her when suddenly he is dragged underground by a creature lurking under a trapdoor and the top half of his body comes flying back into the room in a bloody mess. Cautiously, Claire climbs down the ladder and confronts the creature, which turns out to be none other than William Birkin himself, who a week earlier had injected himself with his own creation. Claire manages to drive it away before returning to get Sherry,

RE2 – LEON B: GAME
After finding what the need, Leon hurries back to the cells to get Ben only to find he has been injured by a monster. He tells Leon that Chief Irons has been working with Umbrella when suddenly his chest explodes and a small parasitic creature bursts out.

He calls Claire and tells him he has accessed the sewer entrance and asks her to meet him there.
Upon entering the sewer, he finds the monster that had attacked Ben, a ‘G-mutant’, capable of spitting out parasites that can be ingested by a host. If the parasite rejects its host, it will burst out through the chest. Leon takes it down before finding Ada and this time she agrees to stick with him.

They don’t get far however before they unexpectedly run into Annette Birkin, who tries to shoot Ada but Leon takes the bullet for her by pushing her out of the way. Leon loses consciousness and Ada takes after Annette.

After moving through a vent shaft, Annette sneaks up and disarms Ada, believing her to be a spy sent to recover the ‘G-Virus’. She coldly informs her that John is dead, killed in the biohazard at the Spencer Mansion back in the summer. She also explains to Ada what happened to William Birkin, how Umbrella tried to steal his own virus and how it leaked across the city. Ada realizes that the creature stalking the police department was William all along. Annette then spots Sherry’s pendant around her neck and a fight breaks out, resulting in Ada pushing Annette over the railing and plunging her into the sewage water. Ada then opens up the pendent to reveal a sample of the G-Virus hidden inside it.

CLAIRE B: GAME
Claire and Sherry enter the sewer and see Mr X prowling the gantry above, looking for them. Fortunately it doesn’t se them and they run off, although Sherry somehow gets herself washed down a drain, where she loses consciousness. William Birkin finds her, and injects her with an embryo. With Sherry being his daughter, the host is compatible.

Claire moves on and finds Leon. He has been shot but he says he is fine and tells her to go and find Ada, who has gone after Annette. Claire agrees and instead finds Annette hauling herself out of some sewage water. Claire tells her that Sherry is lost in the sewer and Annette realizes that William will be after her. They split up to look for her.

Claire eventually find her unconscious on the garbage dump and realizes she has already been infected.

LEON A: GAME
Leon recovers enough to go on and eventually finds Ada, who feels guilty about his wound and bandages him up.

CLAIRE A: GAME
Sherry and Claire leave the sewer and reach the factory on the outskirts of town. A train car waits for them on a turntable platform and they take it down towards Umbrella’s main lab beneath the city. However, their journey is interrupted by the Birkin mutant once more and Claire has to go outside and fight it off.

Eventually, they touch down at the lab and Claire carries the sickly Sherry and locks her in a security office. She then heads off to search the lab for a possible cure.

4TH SURVIVOR: GAME, UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Somewhere in the sewerage system, USS Agent Hunk slowly regains consciousness. He is injured yet doesn’t seem to be infected and has been drifting in and out of consciousness for days as he struggled to stay alive. Despite Birkin smashing the case containing the viral samples, Hunk still has one safely secured on him and manages to raise HQ on the radio. They arrange a back-up extraction point on the helipad of the RPD and so Hunk battles his way back through the precinct, which is now heavily populated with creatures and he has a run in with Mr X also. Eventually he makes it to the helipad and signals for rescue. The helicopter picks him up and delivers him to Loire Village in France where he will hand the G-Virus sample over to Umbrella.

LEON B: GAME
Slowed down somewhat by Leon’s injury, they eventually arrive at the factory and have to call up the train car from the lower levels. In doing so however, they are attacked by Mr X whom for some reason has turned his attention towards Leon and Ada. They knock it down and climb onto the train and begin their decent.

However, William Birkin is still lurking down there and attacks the train, his claws shooting through steel as if it were tin foil and stabbing Ada in the shoulder. Leon fends him off but the train has stopped halfway down due to a malfunction. Ada is hurt bad and she urges him to leave her and go but Leon says they will escape together.

He sets off to find a way to get the train moving again but as he is crawling through a vent to another level of the lab, the train unexpectedly starts up and moves down again. Did Ada do that? Surely not…

LEON B: GAME: SEPTEMBER 30TH: EARLY AM
Leon finds an elevator and rides down to the bottom of the lab but an inspection of the train reveals it to be empty. Ada has gone. He begins to search the lab for her and runs into Annette, who accuses him of being a spy along with Ada. Leon denies this but Annette says she has run a background check on her. She works for ‘The Agency’ and is here to steal the G-Virus. Her relationship with John was a scam in her eyes to gather intelligence on Umbrella.

Suddenly, Mr X crashes down from the ceiling behind Leon and Annette flees for the elevator, leaving Leon trapped with the beast. Leon manages to knock it down and takes the lift down to the power room.

CLAIRE A – GAME
Meanwhile, as Claire moves around the lab the crazed Annette finds her and accuses her of murdering William. Claire tells her he has implanted Sherry with an embryo just as William drops down from the ceiling behind them. Annette rushes to embrace him but he cuts her down as if she were a rag doll before he disappears once more.

Lying in a pool of blood, Annette begs Claire to save Sherry and gives her instructions on how to make the G-Virus vaccine, dubbed ‘Devil’.

LEON B – GAME
Whilst Leon is in the power room, Mr X has tracked him once more and he is now trapped with nowhere to run. Suddenly, shots ring out from behind the beast and Ada has returned for him. Mr X turns toward her as her magazine runs dry. She reloads just as the tyrant grabs her by the throat and hoists her into the air. Ada fires point blank into Mr X’s face, damaging him badly. He tosses Ada aside and she clatters into a control panel. Injured and malfunctioning, Mr X topples over the gantry and falls far below and into a vat of liquid metal. Leon dashes over to Ada and she tells him she loves him as they share a tender kiss. She dies in his arms as an electrical surge echoes around them, setting off the self-destruct sequence. Reluctantly letting her go, Leon takes the master key from her body and leaves as the base begins to shake around him.

CLAIRE A – GAME
Claire reaches the control room and sees Leon on the monitors. She calls him on the radio and he seems surprised she is still alive. She tells him to go and get Sherry from the security room whilst she goes to Birkin’s private lab to make up the vaccine.

LEON B – GAME
Leon arrives at the office and picks up the unconscious Sherry. Using the master key he took from Ada’s body, he unlocks the elevator route for the emergency exit which leads to the train platform. Placing Sherry down inside one of the carriages, he makes preparations to start the train.

CLAIRE A – GAME
After making the Devil vaccine in Birkin’s lab, she uses an MO disk to access a corridor leading to the elevator for the train platform. However, as she waits for the lift to arrive, William Birkin crashes through the ceiling for a final confrontation, his appearance now so mutated there is no way to tell he was once human. They begin one last final battle, Claire using all her available firepower on the creature.

LEON B – GAME
Leon leaves the train to fire up the generator to power the transport and open up the exit gates. However, as he inserts the plugs to regain power, a mutated Mr X jumps down behind him, now stronger than ever. Leon desperately tries to dodge the attacks, but there seems no way to defeat the creature until Ada appears somewhere above, apparently still alive. She tosses him a rocket launcher which Leon immediately grabs, no time to speak to Ada now. He turns and fires the rocket at Mr X, blowing it into kingdom come.

As the power comes back on, Leon sees that Ada has vanished. With less than three minutes until detonation, he hurries back to the train.

CLAIRE A –GAME
Claire finally defeats Birkin once more as her elevator arrives. With the base shaking and exploding all around her, she rides to the lower levels. Arriving on the platform, she sees that the train has just started up and is moving off. Leon is in the cabin and screams at her to get onboard, which she manages, just.

As the train hurtles down the tunnel, the underground Raccoon City lab obliterates behind them. Claire hurries to administer the Devil vaccine to Sherry, upon which she instantly recovers from her fever.

LEON B – GAME
Leon is relieved they have made it but Claire says she still has to find her brother. Leon nods and goes up to the cabin alone to say his final farewell to Ada when suddenly, there is a small explosion and the train’s computer system announces that bio-hazardous material is onboard and activates a countdown of two minutes upon which the train will explode. The computer automatically locks all the doors, trapping Leon on his own. He races to the back of the train where he finds a mass of tentacles forcing their way inside. It is the Birkin monster once more. Leon uses his last remaining rocket on the beast before retreating back towards the locked cabin.

Claire meanwhile, tries to access the driver’s cabin to stop the train but it is locked. Sherry sees what Claire is trying to do and squeezes through a small ventilation hole.

With nowhere to go, and the monster seemingly digesting the train as it pushes itself onward, Leon climbs up onto the train’s roof and makes for the driver’s compartment. Birkin squashes the door to the cabin and has almost reached Claire, who in desperation climbs down onto the underside of the train and holds on to the railings, her body just centimeters from the ground.

In the driver’s cabin, Sherry is contemplating which button to press when Leon opens the roof hatch above and tells her to push the emergency brake. The train screeches to a halt and all three of the survivors disembark and sprint for the mouth of the tunnel. They emerge into the bright sunshine of the desert as behind them the train blows up, taking the G-Type Birkin with it and this time for good.

Tired, wounded, but alive. The trio pick themselves up and Leon urges them to get moving, saying its up to them to take out Umbrella.

RE3: CLAIRE EPILOGUE
As Claire, Leon and Sherry begin to head out across the desert, they expect to be picked up by the military. An argument between Leon and Claire occurs due to Claire wanting to avoid the authorities and Leon stressing that both he and Sherry need immediate medical attention and rest. In the end, Leon tells her to go alone if she wants to find Chris. He and Sherry will stay here. She promises to come back for both of them before heading off into the distance alone.

RES: REPORT ON DESTROYED RACCOON CITY: NIGHT
Nicholai is waiting in the St Michael Clock Tower and makes his report of the incident to HQ. The zombies have overrun the city and it is safe to say Raccoon City has been completely destroyed by the biohazard. He notes however, that this incident is different to that of the Spencer Mansion disaster due to the fact he believes William Birkin intentionally caused this one. He recommends that the security of the viruses in their worldwide facilities must be improved and also all Umbrella workers must be re-educated. He believes bio-weapons will become Umbrella’s primary product and should be treated as such. All personnel need to ensure another biohazard does not occur.

RE3: FAX FROM HQ: OCTOBER 1ST
Umbrella Headquarters faxes a memo to the UBCS Supervisors hideout in Raccoon Park stating that the Raccoon City project has been abandoned. Their political maneuvering in the Senate to delay the US Government’s plans is now futile. They command all supervisors to evacuate immediately for the US Army will execute their plan tomorrow morning and the city will be obliterated by daybreak.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: INTRO: AFTERNOON
At an undisclosed location, an Umbrella researcher named Greg is typing away on a computer. He complains to himself that an organization like Umbrella can be harmed by too much growth and that what should be important becomes overshadowed by greed. He walks over to the test tube where we see another tyrant in stasis. This one is his own creation named Thanatos, the Greek term for death. Greg scoffs at the idea of mass production and states that one masterpiece is enough.
Meanwhile, some survivors are sheltering in the garage of the RPD. One of them is George Hamilton. He looks over at a wall which has been turned into a crude message board by previous survivors. He is stunned to find a message to him from his friend Peter Jenkins who works at Raccoon University. He says he has information about the outbreak which only George will understand. George leaves immediately. Some time later Yoko Suzuki realizes George has gone and she along with Jim Chapman head out after her. On route, they run into Kevin Ryman, who goes with them.

RE3 – GAME: LATE NIGHT
Jill Valentine awakes to find herself in the chapel of the ST Michael Clock Tower. A heavy rain is drumming down on the roof and she sees that Carlos is by her side. She knows she is infected with the T-Virus. Carlos says he will try to find a way to help but Jill says that he has to kill her when she turns. She rolls over and goes back to sleep whilst Carlos heads out into the rain.

Outside the back of the clock tower and down a side street stands the Raccoon Hospital. Carlos decides this will be as good a place as any to look for a cure and heads inside. The hospital houses a secret Umbrella lab and in the lab he runs into Tyrell Patrick, a surviving UBCS member. He is surprised to find a ‘guinea pig’ like Carlos still alive and we see that he has been shot. He tells Carlos it was Nicholai that shot him. He inputs a code to open a safe and we see that it has been booby trapped. A small charge goes off, knocking Carlos back but Tyrell is caught in the explosion and his lifeless body slumps to the floor.

Moving on, Carlos sees Umbrella is growing a new type of Hunter dubbed ‘Gamma’ in stasis tubes in the lab. He finds instructions for an antidote to the T-Virus and makes it up.

As he leaves the hospital however, he sees that somebody has planted explosive charges on the ground floor of the hospital and the countdown only has seconds to go. Carlos sprints for the exit and away from the building as it crumbles down behind him. He knows it must have been Nicholai who planted the explosives. He hurries back to the chapel to administer the antidote to Jill. On the way however, he has a run in with the Nemesis, now mutated into another form following the heavy damage it has sustained. Carlos manages to evade it and reaches Jill where he injects her with the serum. After a while, Jill wakes up and she seems to be okay. Carlos is relieved, though tells her the bad news that both the Nemesis and Nicholai are still alive. He says he doesn’t know what Nicholai is up to but he is definitely their enemy. Carlos then runs off, saying he needs to take care of a few things. Jill takes a moment to get her strength back.

REOUT2 – END OF THE ROAD: INTRO: VERY LATE NIGHT
On one of the main streets of Raccoon City, a Huey transport helicopter lies parked on the street and two people are in furious debate. The chopper’s pilot is Rodriguez, a member of the Umbrella Special Service, the same unit Hunk is in. He has stolen a cargo capsule containing a deadly new prototype bio-weapon named the ‘Nyx’. The other person is Linda, a scientist who works at Umbrella’s Hunter development lab. Rodriguez wants to go but Linda says she needs to go back for the T-Virus vaccine sample. Rodriguez reluctantly agrees but says he won’t wait round for long as Umbrella will be looking for him. Linda hurries back to the lab alone.

RE3 – GAME:
With her strength recovered, Jill leaves the chapel and finds the Nemesis waiting for her. After evading it once more she makes her way to the Raccoon City Park. It is full of zombies and hunters and she takes shelter in a nearby hut belonging to park security. Behind the fireplace however, she discovers the secret HQ of the UBCS ‘Supervisors’, elite hand picked agents ordered to collect battle data on the soldiers against the BOW, the true purpose of their presence in Raccoon City, expendable guinea pigs, just like everyone else. The room is filled with maps and charts with key locations marked throughout the city including the hospital and police station. She also reads a fax which states that the mission must be aborted due to the city being obliterated on the morning of October 2nd. A radio transmission sounds requesting all supervisors to return immediately.

As she leaves, she bumps into Nicholai, who confirms his position as a supervisor. He tells Jill he has no intention of helping her before he runs off after hearing the sound of the grave digger mutant moving around outside.
Jill steps out and faces the monster, defeating it by knocking down a lamppost and electrocuting it.

REOUT2 – END OF THE ROAD: GAME: OCTOBER 2ND: EARLY AM
Linda arrives back at the lab to see plumber David King battering a zombie with a lead pipe. It seems that he and security guard Mark Wilkins stumbled into this Umbrella lab whilst looking for an escape route from the city. David has just saved the life of another researcher named Carter. Carter has the sample and Linda says they need to go, telling David and Mark they can hitch a ride on their chopper when suddenly an alarm sounds, and shutters come down, sealing off many areas of the lab. They all run to the examination room where Linda types on a computer saying some Hunters have escaped and that is why the shutters have come down. She says they can leave via the east exit with her key. Carter has gone on ahead saying he has an idea, though she doesn’t know what it is.

Moving through the facility, dodging the rogue Hunters and bypassing a laser emitting security system, David catches up with Carter in the observation room. His plan is to activate a ‘Mr X’ type Tyrant and re-programmed it to take out all the Hunters, allowing them to escape safely. Linda isn’t so sure, but Carter says there is nothing to worry about and watches in awe as the huge humanoid creature destroys the Hunters in its path. He says he has fitted Mr X with a little surprise, a remote bomb activated by remote control in case of emergency.

They move off together, Mr X taking care of the Hunters and eventually arrive at the east exit. However, Mr X is beginning to malfunction, and suddenly attacks Carter, knocking the remote control from his hand. He also attacks Linda, knocking her over the railing and falling down to the waterworks system below. Mr X then smashes the vial containing the vaccine sample before finishing off Carter. Knowing he can’t defeat the Tyrant, David runs off, entering the waterworks to find Linda.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD: GAME
In the sewer, David is reunited with Mark and they eventually find Linda unconscious on the floor. She tells him that she can remember how to make up for of the T-Virus vaccine, but it will only matter now if she can escape the city. Suddenly, the floodgates open and they are washed away down the tunnel as a torrent of sewage water rushes into the complex.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: GAME
Kevin, Jim and Yoko reach the university and find it deserted with only a handful of zombies roaming the corridors. There is no sign of George or anyone else. After a bit of searching, they discover a secret passage leading to a hidden room. There they find George’s friend, Peter. His throat has been cut and he is surrounded by papers on a possible vaccine for the T-Virus dubbed ‘Daylight’. Apparently, they need three components to make it up and so they split up to look for them. Yoko and Jim search the water purification centre near the waterfront whilst Kevin checks the old subway tunnels and the air exhaust tower below.

RE3: GAME
Moving on through the park, Jill eventually arrives at the Dead Factory but as she crosses the bridge the relentless Nemesis is blocking her path once more. Taking her chances, Jill jumps off and plunges into the river below. Up above, the Nemesis turns and heads towards the factory, biding its time.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: GAME
As they search the waterworks, Yoko and Jim find George. But he has been mortally wounded and is dying. He speaks to them both briefly before losing consciousness. They continue onwards.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: PRE-DAWN: 5:45AM, REOUT1 - ORDERS
Eventually both parties find the P-Base and the V-poison and make their way back up to the university. They spy the Thantos tyrant engaged in battle with a UBCS squad. As the fire fight ensures, Nicholai Ginoveaf, who has made his way here from the park, takes up a sniper’s position on a balcony ledge. He fires a dart into the neck of Thantos and a small syringe extracts a blood sample. This sends the tyrant wild and it decimates the UBCS squad before running back into the university. Nicholai is surprised at this action and wonders if it is going to find Greg, its creator. He needs to recover that sample and head towards the Dead Factory where his escape chopper is waiting. He doesn’t have much time.

RE3: GAME
Jill enters the Dead Factory and runs into Carlos, who saves her life yet again, and tells her its becoming a full time job for him. He also tells her that a missile is going to destroy the city as soon as day breaks. They split up and search the factory to look for a means of escape.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: GAME
Kevin and co re-enter the university to find Thanatos waiting for them, but they manage to lure it under an electrical charge and knock it unconscious. They take Nicholai’s blood sample and hurry upstairs to the lab to make up the ‘daylight’ vaccine.
Once it is ready however, Greg is waiting for them. He has been monitoring their progress and thanks them for doing all the hard work in making up the sample for him. It is the only resource against the T-Virus and he won’t give it over to Umbrella, condemning the whole ‘T’ project as a disaster. He also taunts Yoko, saying that what happened two years ago was so terrible he doesn’t blame her for wanting it erased from her memory.

Suddenly, a red dot appears on his head and a single silenced gunshot goes off from somewhere above, killing Greg instantly. His assassin is Nicholai, who is lurking somewhere in the roofing. His mission over, he hurries back toward the Dead Factory.

Kevin, Yoko and Jim grab the Daylight and prepare to leave when they realize Nicholai has rigged the whole university with explosive charges. Using Greg’s computer, they manage to unlock all the doors and escape just as the bomb goes off, trapping the Thantos under a mountain of rubble.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD: GAME
David emerges from the sewer and out onto the main street. He finds Rodriguez’s huey and he tells David to find Linda quickly.

Linda meanwhile, is on her way back but is mistaken for a zombie by a UBCS Commander, who is taking pot shots at the creatures with a sniper rifle. He shoots her in the leg, and she manages to crawl into the Apple Inn for cover. Up above on the viaduct, the UBCS Commander realizes he has just shot a human but he doesn’t care. A man in a suit comes over, asking just what the hell he is doing. His name is Tommy Neilson and he has been given orders to find Rodriguez and the Nyx with the Commander’s squad, now the last unit left alive in the city.

Mr X has come out of the sewer and is prowling the streets for the survivors when he suddenly mutates into his true form, stronger, bigger, faster and much more aggressive.

RE3: GAME
Whilst, searching the factory, Jill bumps into Nicholai, who has just arrived back from his trip to the university. He fires a few shots at her, forcing her into cover as he then locks himself in the radio room. Jill now has to find an ID card to get inside which she finds in the treatment room, after having yet another battle with the Nemesis, who this time, seems to be dead for good.

As Jill leaves the room, a warning goes off stating that a missile attack is imminent. She will have to hurry, the order has been given.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD: GAME
The UBCS Commander has just heard that Code XX has been put into effect and he is furious at Neilson for not telling him. Neilson replies that he kept telling him to hurry. The Commander starts to walk off, realizing this job is a lot hotter than what he expected. Neilson asks him where he is going; they need to recover the Nyx. The Commander isn’t interested any more. All he wants to do is get out of the city and so he leaves Neilson alone.

David and Mark meanwhile, have reached the Apple Inn and find the wounded Linda. With him supporting her and Mark covering them, they begin their journey back towards Rodriguez’s huey before it’s too late.

RE3: GAME
Jill finally accesses the radio room and there is a message waiting for her. Flicking on the com she hears Nicholai gloating at her. He has got himself a helicopter and is preparing to leave. All the dead bodies of the UBCS in the park was his handy work apparently, and with him being the only supervisor left alive the bonus situation will be much better for him at HQ. He also tells her Umbrella is offering a modest reward for the confirmation of her death. He fires the chopper’s guns at Jill but he cannot reach her. He then turns and flies off into the night, saying she is doomed anyway because of the incoming missile.
Carlos reappears and Jill tells him that Nicholai has escaped in the helicopter. Even though failure now seems inevitable, Carlos refuses to give up and frantically tries to reach someone on the radio. Suddenly and very unexpectedly, another message comes in, from someone claiming to be from STARS and looking specifically for Jill. It couldn’t be Chris or Brad, could it be Barry? Jill uses a radar receiver to track the incoming missile before heading outside.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD - GAME
Not able to wait any longer, Rodriguez takes off and begins to fly away when Neilson appears on one of the rooftops, brandishing a stinger missile launcher. He fires at the Huey and Rodriguez manages to swerve the chopper so the missile just misses yet catches the chain holding the Nyx capsule below. The chain snaps and the capsule falls to the ground below. Rodriguez curses, yet he has no time to retrieve it and he leaves the city.

Meanwhile, the UBCS unit minus its Commander are moving slowly forward to secure the capsule when it suddenly dents from the inside and a host of sharp tentacles burst out from within and spear the team before dragging their bodies slowly towards the capsule to be consumed.

RE3: GAME
Jill runs through the scrap yard, finding the bodies of several Umbrella Mr X type Tyrants and a platoon of US Army soldiers. It seems this was the meeting point for them to extract William Birkin yet they had walked into a trap. Their primary weapon, a rail cannon named Paracelsus Sword, was the reason they managed to kill so many of the Tyrants in battle.

As Jill enters the building however, what is left of the Nemesis follows her inside and begins its final mutation. However, it has taken heavy damage and is not as fast as it once was. Jill powers up the rail cannon and uses it to finish off the creature. For good measure, she empties a colt python loader into its corpse, ensuring it won’t rise up again before heading out of the back exit.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS - GAME
Meanwhile, two firemen are in a rescue chopper making a final sweep over this portion of the city. They witness the university explosion and head over where they spot the three survivors. They shout over the megaphone to get to the courtyard where they will land. However, the Thanatos isn’t dead yet and rises from the rubble ready to finish them off once and for all. They manage to fight it back and knock it down, although Jim is badly injured in the encounter.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD – GAME
After seeing Rodriguez leave without them, Linda, David and Mark decide to head for the viaduct leading to the city limits; however, Linda’s injury is making their progress slow. They are suddenly ambushed by the mutated form of Mr X and it spears Mark to death, toying with his corpse as David and Linda get away.

They finally arrive at the viaduct. David leaves Linda in a safe place whilst he checks the area out to make sure it is safe. There are a few jeeps scattered about, perhaps they can use one to escape.

REOU1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS - GAME
The helicopter lands at the university as Thanatos gets up yet again. Realizing the only way to kill it is with the Daylight vaccine. They load it into an ampoule shooter from the chopper and blast it into the creature’s heart, dropping it down for good.

As they prepare to board the chopper, Kevin stops Jim. He knows they are both infected and they cannot leave. Jim slowly nods. Yoko boards the chopper and promises to expose this whole affair, leaving the two men behind.

RE3 –GAME
Jill arrives back outside to see Carlos waiting for her. He uses a flare to signal down the approaching helicopter.

REOUT2: END OF THE ROAD – GAME
Mr X has tracked David to the viaduct, yet the escaped Nyx is waiting there also and it engulfs the hapless Tyrant, absorbing the creature and making the Nyx even stronger. It attacks David, who fortunately utilizes a heavy arsenal of weapons left behind by the deceased UBCS squad. Even through he is injured in the battle, eventually the Nyx falls. With no time to spare, he hurries back for Linda.

REOUT1: DECISIONS, DECISIONS: EPILOGUE
Yoko sits solemnly in the helicopter as it flies away and thinks about a premonition she once had about Raccoon City being destroyed. She also replays the words what Greg had said to her over and over again.

Back on the ground, Jim can’t believe that they actually chose to stay behind. Kevin is silent and just inspects his weapon and Jim asks why he got stuck with him instead of a fine looking woman.

Suddenly, the remains of Thanatos rise impossibly from the ground. Jim can’t believe it. Kevin allows himself a sly grin and aims his gun, telling Jim lets finish this off like men, just as behind him, the missile bears down on the city.

RE3: EPILOGUE
Jill and Carlos strap themselves into the chopper as it rises and takes off towards the horizon. Jill goes to thank the pilot and realizes that it’s none other than Barry Burton, who has come back into the city to look for her. They see the missile approaching the city in the background.

REOUT2 – END OF THE ROAD: GAME
David secures the injured Linda in the jeep before hitting the accelerator. The jeep lurches forward, picking up speed as they enter the tunnel taking them out of the city. Behind them, the sky lights up as the missile impacts.

RE3 – EPILOGUE, REOUT1 – DECISIONS, DECISIONS: EPILOGUE, REOUT2 – END OF THE ROAD: EPILOGUE
The missile impacts in the centre of town; blinding light is soon followed by a colossal explosion as Raccoon City is systematically wiped from the globe. Jill, Barry and Carlos barely make it out alive, Jill damning Umbrella for going too far. Yoko Suzuki also makes it out by chopper, whilst David King and Linda escape by jeep.

RE3 – EPILOGUE: AFTERNOON
The news is dominated by the Raccoon City disaster which it turned out was an authorized strike by the US Government. The newscaster reports that the death toll has surpassed the 100000 mark.

RE4 – INTRO: OCTOBER 2ND-ONWARDS
With the whole Raccoon City incident thrown into the public spotlight and the incident too big to cover-up and ignore, the US Government finally begins to crack down on Umbrella, resulting in the corporation receiving a serious suspension of business decree. In time, Umbrella’s stock prices would begin to fall and its worldwide influence begin to decline.

RE3 –JILL EPILOGUE
After the incident, Jill Valentine goes to Europe to feet up with Chris Redfield. However, when she locates one of his safe houses, it is empty. It is trashed and there is a knife smeared with a little blood on the floor. She believes Chris is still alive and together they can go and put an end to Umbrella. Carlos and Barry may or may not be with her.

RE3 – BARRY EPILOGUE
Barry Burton bids farewell to his family, saying that he won’t return to them until he has paid back his debt to his comrades.

RE3 – CLAIRE EPILOGUE
Claire Redfield heads alone to Europe to find Chris.

RE3 – LEON EPILOGUE
When questioned about the affair by US Government agents, they are impressed with his skills shown throughout the incident and offer for him to join their ranks but they deny his request to leave Sherry out of this. He also becomes a member of a newly formed anti-Umbrella group.

RE3 – SHERRY EPILOGUE, WESKER’S REPORT
Sherry Birkin is placed in the custody of the US government; however either through bribery, betrayal or capture, she ends up in Albert Wesker’s organization. Wesker knows there is something special about this little girl and she is of course the only person in the world with immunity to the G-Virus.

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
UBCS Supervisor Nicholai Ginoveaf reports to Umbrella HQ to present his report of the incident.

RE3 – ADA EPILOGUE
Ada Wong, brandishing scars down her body, changes her identity and prepares for her next mission. She still has Sherry’s pendant which contains the G-Virus sample, which she delivered to Wesker and the Organization.

RE4 – ADA’S REPORT, RECVX – GAME, UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
The Organization that Wesker and Ada work for learn of the Ashford family and the T-Veronica virus. Knowing Wesker has intelligence on the matter and was successful in the G-Virus recovery in the Raccoon City disaster, the agency orders him to capture Alexia Ashford in order to acquire viral samples and he joins their Hive Capture Force division, leading the mission himself whilst Ada recovers from her injuries.

RES – RESTAURANT MANAGER’S DIARY: OCTOBER 4TH
The restaurant manager on Sheena Island hears about Raccoon City being destroyed. Apparently all the residents turned into zombies and there are rumors Umbrella is behind the incident.

RES – RESTAURANT MANAGER’S DIARY: OCTOBER 6TH
The restaurant hears more about the disaster in Raccoon and that company elite William Birkin was responsible for the accident with the virus he created leaking throughout the sewers.

RES – REPORT ON DESTROYED RACCOON CITY
Nicholai Ginovaef writes a detailed report on the Raccoon Incident and its aftermath noting how difficult it is recovering the sample date for T-Virus infection and the combat data regarding the BOW. He also states that the Nemesis was much more ferocious and intelligent than expected. Many UBCS members were sacrificed to acquire valuable combat data and he expects this data to be used to perfect an even more evolved biological weapon.

RES – CHURCH MANAGER’S DIARY: OCTOBER 7TH
The head of each section of Sheena Island attend a meeting with Commander Goldman on the destruction of Raccoon City. Blame is wholeheartedly placed on William Birkin who was a traitor to Umbrella and Vincent Goldman warns that if anyone like that is on Sheena Island they must be executed immediately. A closer eye on company employees mush be enforced in the future as Sheena Island is much more important to Umbrella than Raccoon City was.

RES – RESTAURANT MANAGER’S DIARY: OCTOBER 8TH
The manager notes that one of his customers who came in for lunch today mentioned that T-Virus is being kept on the island, however it is impossible for any accident to happen here. The manager isn’t too sure and decides he has had enough of being surrounded by Umbrella and wants off the island for good.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY
The prisoner on Sheena Island notes how all the Umbrella staff have been visibly shaken lately due to rumors of a huge viral leakage related to Umbrella in America. He decides now is the right time to try to escape as security isn’t as tight.

RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY: OCTOBER 9TH
Their escape plan is ready and will be carried out at 11pm tonight. 20 prisoners separated into two units. A will go down through the sewers and B will use a rope to climb down the surveillance tower.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: 23:00PM
RES – YOUNG MAN’S DIARY
The prisoners begin their escape. Stojokovic and Enriquez steal the keys from the guards, Yoshikawa and Fellipe gather up some weapons and Sankhon and the young man ac as the decoys. However, Commander Goldman catches them at it and coldly executes all twenty of them.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: OCTOBER 10TH
Goldman knows he will be in trouble if Umbrella headquarters becomes aware that he executed twenty valuable guinea pigs and so order’s the island’s police chief to report the incident as a mass suicide. He also warns the other city leaders who know about the incident to keep quiet as well.

RES – JANITOR ANDY’S DIARY
In the sewers, janitor Andy Holland hears a rumor that there was an incident above ground last night and that Commander Goldman has done something cruel.

RECVX – OFFICIAL GUIDE: OCTOBER 13TH
Nicholai Ginoveaf sends a detailed fax to Alfred Ashford on Rockfort Island. In it, he notes the success of the Tyrant Virus as a bio-weapon and the danger posed to Umbrella by the remaining STARS members, Redfield, Valentine, Burton and Chambers. He also notes that a survivor of Raccoon City, Claire Redfield is indeed the younger sibling of Chris, and that both their present locations are unknown. It should be made highest priority that they are found and eliminated.
Also, USS agent Hunk will report to Rockfort in the near future for a full evaluation.

RES – LOTT’S DIARY: OCTOBER 15TH
Lott hears about Goldman’s murdering of the prisoners. He understands that they were inferior but doesn’t understand why he had to kill them all as Umbrella and his father were supposed to help them by operating on them.

RES – PRISON CHIEF’S DIARY: OCTOBER 20TH
Having sent a fake report to Umbrella HQ regarding the deaths of the prisoners, the chief receives a reply stating they will gather and send replacement guinea pigs soon. They do not seem to have any suspicions about the report yet the chief is not happy about lying to them. He is frightened of Commander Goldman and doesn’t think he has the strength to move against him.

RECVX – WORKER’S DIARY: OCTOBER 30TH
A worker realizes he was wrong to join Umbrella. He works as a driver at the Ashford’s transport terminal in the Antarctic and complains how demanding the work is and that he’d rather be dead.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 1ST-7TH
Ark Thompson, a private investigator, has been hired by his friend Leon S. Kennedy, who is in the process of being recruited by the US Government, to investigate Umbrella’s dealings on Sheena Island, a place owned exclusively by the company. He manages to arrive on the island undetected but he's observed acting suspiciously by Lott Klein. Lott reports this Vincent Goldman, the Commander of the city.

RECVX – WORKER’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 3RD
The worker’s vacation is cancelled suddenly because the facility head Alfred Ashford made an error which requires additional manpower to fix. He cannot stand Alfred, noting how he doesn’t even treat them like human beings.

RECVX – WORKER’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 5TH
The worker hears a story from a colleague who has been working in Antarctica for over eight years. He tells how a man is locked up in a cell deep underground and has been imprisoned for over ten years. People call him “Nosferatu” and are deathly afraid of him. The worker believes this to be absurd.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 8TH
Sheena Island Commander Vincent Goldman realizes that the people of the city are gathering evidence of the prison massacre and are planning on reporting it to headquarters. He also hears that an undercover spy has sneaked onto the island and wonders if the two incidents are connected. He decides to find out who he works for and why he is here before killing him.

RES – JANITOR ANDY’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 9TH
Ark Thompson, impersonating Vincent Goldman, meets Andy Holland in the sewers for an inspection. They make small talk, but when Andy takes his picture he becomes angry. After he leaves, Andy thinks he is a jerk, but Ark was angry because he doesn’t want his undercover position compromised.

RECVX – WORKER’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 10TH: MIDNIGHT
The worker is awoken by an ominous growling sound coming from deep underground. He curses himself for being frightened at that ridiculous Nosferatu story.

RES – WIRETAPPING RECORD OF VINCENT: NOVEMBER 10TH-17TH
The city leaders on Sheena Island are successful in gathering proof of Commander Goldman’s cruelty and deception. Their plan is to hand the tape over to Umbrella’s corporate people who are due to arrive on the Island sometime next week.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 19TH
Vincent Goldman learns of the evidence the city leaders have and that they are to hand it over to the corporate visitors next week. He is livid and cannot allow this information to be revealed. He decides to teach all those who oppose him a valuable lesson.

RES – VINCENT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 22ND
Vincent Goldman spreads the T-virus all over Sheena Island in a manner calculated to seem accidental. He then makes plans leave the island and report to HQ for his promotion due to his achievements at the Tyrant Plant factory on the mountain. But first he has to take care of that spy.

RES – LOTT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 23RD
Lott is extremely frightened as monsters have appeared all over the city and everything is in total panic. He is attacked by the Umbrella people who used to be nice to him.

RES – LOTT’S DIARY: NOVEMBER 24TH
Lott is horrified as his parents have turned into zombies. One of the survivors tells him that Commander Goldman is responsible for this mess. Lott is determined to find his sister Lilly and then they can get out of here.

THE SHEENA ISLAND INCIDENT: 24TH-25TH NOVEMBER 1998

RES – GAME: NOVEMBER 24TH: NIGHT
Private Eye Ark Thompson infiltrates the main Umbrella office on Sheena Island. He breaks into the office of Island Commander Vincent Goldman and begins to snoop around. Goldman however, comes into his office and catches him at it. They have a scuffle and Ark manages to get away, but not before Goldman grabs hold of his dog tags.

RES - INTRO
As the zombies shuffle around on the streets far below, Ark races to his helicopter and starts to lift off when Goldman appears hot on his heels and grabs hold of the landing struts as the chopper takes off across the city. Whilst hanging on with one hand, Goldman aims his gun and fires at the cockpit and the shots hit something vital which makes the chopper spin out of control. Goldman cannot hold on any longer and falls to his death below. Ark cannot keep control any longer and the chopper crash lands in a ball of flame and Ark is thrown clear of the wreckage.

RES – GAME
Some time later, Ark regains consciousness and gets to his feet. He is suffering from amnesia and cannot remember his name or why he is here. Moving through the streets he finds a body on the floor. It is Goldman; still brandishing Ark’s dog tags making Ark believe the body is him.

A zombie appears behind him, cutting off his investigation of the body. He kills it and retreats into a church. An Umbrella logo is on the wall and the back is full of giant spiders.

Leaving via a back door, a payphone begins to ring yet when he tries to answer it the line goes dead immediately.
Moving on, it becomes clear someone is watching him as another phone begins to ring. This time there is a voice on the other end, and calls Ark Vincent, and that he is a murderer. Ark is shocked and the line goes dead once more.
Meanwhile, two unmarked, black helicopters arrive into the city and a squad of cleaners from Umbrella rappel down on zip lines armed with automatic weapons ready to kill anything that moves. Two of them corner Ark in an arcade when two sudden shots ring out and the soldiers fall dead to the floor. Ark looks out the window to see a man with a sniper rifle in the library across the street. However, his savior then turns to attacker and tries to shoot Ark, who ducks out of the way.

RES – GAME: NOVEMBER 25TH: EARLY AM
Ark heads over to the library and meets janitor Andy Holland, who believes him to be Vincent Goldman, the island’s Commander. He locks Ark in a small room with a trapped hunter. Ark manages to kill it and get outside, but Andy is gone.
Meanwhile, the real Vincent Goldman regains consciousness outside the church; he was never dead at all! He goes back to his private office and watches Ark’s progress on security monitors as he makes his way through a hospital. Activating some controls, he sends a Mr X Type T-103 Tyrant to stalk him across the city.

Ark meanwhile, enters the sewer and comes into Andy Holland’s living area. He reads through his diary, which depicts Vincent as an evil man. There is also a photograph of Vincent, and Ark is horrified to find the image on the picture is him.
Suddenly, the door opens behind him and a little boy, Lott Klein, steps into the room. He freaks out when he sees Ark and begs him not to kill him. Ark says he won’t hurt him but Lott runs off. Ark cannot believe he is really such an evil man.
Ark takes off after him and goes through the prison, where the bodies of the murdered child guinea pigs still lie.
Emerging back outside into the cold night air, he can hear sounds of gunfire in the distance as the cleaners go about their work. Directly ahead however, the trench coated figure of Mr X strides down towards him. Ark empties a few pistol magazines on the creature, toppling it down before it can reach him.

He moves through the Heaven’s Gate night club where Mr X catches up to him once more. Finding a key in the VIP area, he manages to escape out the back and finds himself standing in front of Umbrella’s main building at the heart of the city. The answers he is seeking must be inside there somewhere. Indeed, no sooner has he entered when he begins to have flashbacks of his time on the island, though they are too brief to make any sense of. He makes for Goldman’s office on the thirteenth floor and sees that it is empty, though recently ravaged by a fire. A bank of still operational security cameras reveals a little girl sat somewhere else in the building. Suddenly, Mr X powers into the room, smashing the monitors and Ark is forced to flee once more.

Hen enters another room and sees a little girl playing a recording of Vincent’s mother begging him to stop his evil work and just come home. The girl is frightened and Lott suddenly appears by her side and fends Ark off with a baseball bat. The girl is Lilly Klein, Lott’s sister. They run away, and Ark chases them outside and after another run in with Mr X, sees them drop into the river outside.

As he wades through the murky water, he arrives at the other side to find the Lott house. Inside it is secure and he finds Lilly hiding in the cupboard in her bedroom. She tells him Lott has gone to the factory on the hill to find a way out but she is scared because that is where all the monsters are coming from. Ark tells her to hide and that he will go for Lott and then come back for her.

He sets off, but finds different routes leading to the factory well guarded. The mountain path houses multiple Mr X units, whilst other routes through the forest and underground are infested with Lickers, Cerberus and cleaners.

RES – GAME: PRE-DAWN
Eventually, Ark penetrates the factory through an abandoned mansion on the hill. The factory is a Tyrant manufacturing plant. The main product appears to be mass production of the T-103 “Mr.X” model. Ark sees a whole army of them being kept in stasis tubes, with several already active and stalking him around the facility. He uncovers evidence that guinea pigs had a chemical extracted from their brain matter which would make them more suitable to be turned into a Tyrant, as with present T-Virus infection, only one person in 100000 would be a suitable candidate.

Ark eventually finds Lott being attacked by a Hunter and saves his life to which Lott is grateful and reveals to Ark his true identity. He is Ark Thompson, not Vincent Goldman, and Lott was only frightened of him because it was he who told Goldman of Ark investigating the island. Ark is relieved and Lott also tells him that there is a subway station in the lower levels that they can escape from. Ark tells Lott to go back and get Lilly whilst he secures a path to the train.

Moving on, with the information Lott told him burning into his mind, he begins to remember who he is and why he came here. His friend, Leon S. Kennedy, asked him to come here to investigate Umbrella’s activities here. His thoughts are interrupted however, when a voice announces the self-destruct system has been activated and that the factory will detonate.

As he looks for a way out, Ark encounters another tyrant locked in stasis, a different one to the Mr X unit. It appears more slender and looks as though it could be a lot more agile. Not wanting to find out however, Ark leaves the lab only to be confronted at gunpoint by Vincent Goldman, the man who had attacked him in the Umbrella building the night before.
He prepares to shoot Ark when he is suddenly speared from behind by the Tyrant that has somehow been released from its confinement. The creature turns its attention towards Ark but it is still slow and sluggish and Ark manages to overcome it easily enough. However, as Ark leaves, it rises to its feet once more.

Arriving at the train, Ark sees Lilly and Lott waiting for him. They board the train whilst Ark goes to open the gates but a squad of cleaners have taken up sniper positions and pepper Ark with machine gun fire. He barely makes it back inside the train and they move off.

RES – GAME: DAWN
The train leads to a small heliport where a lone chopper waits for them. Lilly and Lott climb aboard but then the Tyrant makes a re-appearance and Ark must face it alone before they can take off. It has mutated into a stronger form, making it bigger and causing it to lose some of its speed. Ark eventually takes it down once more and runs to the helicopter. As they take off and head towards the sky, the factory blows up below them.

RES – EPILOGUE
Suddenly, the helicopter lurches and Ark sees that the Tyrant is hanging on the bottom. Pulling itself up, Ark uses the missiles situated on the underside of the chopper to destroy it completely.
As they fly off into the morning sun, Lilly asks where they are going to go to which Ark responds he isn’t sure but so long as they have fuel they will just keep going.

RECVX: GAME: DECEMBER
A worker named Burnside for Umbrella is caught selling company secrets. His wife is murdered and he and his 17-year old son Steve are sent to Rockfort Island.

RECVX – HUNK’S REPORT
USS Agent Hunk arrives on Rockfort Island from the Antarctic base with a new Tyrant. It is safely secure. He fondly remembers the time when he underwent his USS training here.

RES2: FILE 1: DECEMBER 20-27TH
A prison guard finds one of the arachnid T-Virus experiments has escaped and finds it has made a web in an empty cell in the prison complex. He is fascinated by the creature and does not report it, instead finding roaches and moths to feed to it. As the days go by, the virus makes the spider, which he names Neticia, grow bigger and he begins to steal bodies for it to feed on. Eventually, he sends live prisoners into the cell, noting that Alfred Ashford would only torture them to death anyway and no one would care if a few went missing.

The spider soon becomes too big for the cell and the officer lets it loose around the prison where it hides and every so often will pounce on unsuspecting prison officers and prisoners.

RECVX: INTRO: DECEMBER 16TH-17TH
Claire Redfield goes to Paris in search of her brother, Chris.

RECVX: BETA INTRO: DECEMBER 17TH
Claire infiltrates an Umbrella facility in Paris looking for clues on Chris’ whereabouts. However, she is found out and chased around the facility by armed guards. Outside, a heavily armed attack chopper piloted by Nicholai Ginoveaf shoots at her.
Eventually she is caught and detained by head of security Rodrigo Juan Raval.

RE3 – CHRIS’ EPILOGUE: DECEMBER 18-25TH
Meanwhile, in a secret location in Europe, Chris Redfield learns that his sister has been looking for him, but has been captured. He knows she has fallen into the hands of Umbrella, but even if she is still alive, he doesn’t know where to look as they have bases and facilities all around the world.

RECVX: GAME: DECEMBER 25TH
RES2 – INSPECTION REPORT
Albert Wesker leads ‘The Organization's’ Hive Capture Force on an assault on Rockfort Island. He apparently infiltrates the island alone to gather intelligence before the rest of the squad arrive a few days later to begin the attack.

RES2 – INSPECTION REPORT: DECEMBER 26TH
A report is sent to Umbrella HQ detailing that undercover agents have yet to discover the identity of the spy working for HCF However, evidence recovered from D-files in Geneva indicates the spy has infiltrated Rockfort Island and has access to all areas of personnel, including viral storage. They fear he is planning some sort of offensive attack. The matter will be dealt with swiftly and urgently. A Nemesis type T is sent to Rockfort Island for added security as it was a huge success in Raccoon City.

{Let us assume that in all the chaos, it never gets activated.}

RECVX: INTRO: DECEMBER 27TH: MORNING
RECVX: DIJ’S DIARY
Claire is brought by helicopter to Rockfort Island, knocked unconscious, and locked in solitary confinement in the prison complex.

RECVX: DIJ’S DIARY: AFTERNOON
The rest of Wesker’s squad arrive and begin both an aerial and ground assault on Rockfort Island, spreading the T-Virus as they go.

RES2: FILE 1
The prison officer who let the Neticica spider out of the cell is infected with the T-Virus and becomes delirious. He is in love with it and offers himself to her as food as he knows the island will be completely overrun within 48 hours.

RES2: LETTER
Steve Burnside’s father writes a letter to his son asking for forgiveness. He has been infected by the T-Virus and is slowly turning into a zombie. He blames himself for Steve’s imprisonment and his mother’s death. He also says that once the T-Virus infects a certain percentage of the island it cannot be reversed or stopped. He knows that he has been a bad father and he can only pray that Steve can escape from Rockfort alive.

THE CODE VERONICA INCIDENT: DECEMBER 27TH-28TH 1998

RECVX – INTRO: EVENING
Claire regains consciousness to find she is prisoner in a cell somewhere below ground. It is dark and dust falls from the ceiling as distant explosions and rumbling can be heard from somewhere up above. A figure enters the prison and walks slowly toward her, stopping at the door of her cell. She flicks on her lighter and is face to face with Rodrigo Juan Ravel, the Umbrella security head from Paris. He unlocks the door before slumping into a chair behind a desk in some obvious pain, tossing an empty medicine bottle onto the floor.

As Claire cautiously leaves her cell he tells her the complex has been attacked by most likely a Special Forces team. In any case, this place is finished and she is free to leave, although he adds she has no chance of escaping the island alive.

RECVX - GAME
Claire leaves and heads above ground. It is pouring rain and she is in a small graveyard. A crashed truck burns nearby and after a small explosion; the body of the truck’s driver rises up and attacks her. As she moves to get away, more zombies rise up from the ground and she flees for the gate, realizing it is happening again.

No sooner is she through however, one of the watchtowers opens fire on her with a chain gun and she scampers for cover. Taking a gun from one of the dead soldiers she takes out the searchlights before aiming at the tower. The person in the tower surrenders and comes down when he sees she is not a zombie. He is just a boy, even younger than Claire called Steve. He says he is a prisoner too and that he knows there is an airport somewhere on the island. He leaves her, saying she will only slow him down.

Moving on, Claire explores the prison complex though there doesn’t appear to be any more survivors. The place is a mess, buildings lay in ruin and mini fires are everywhere. There has definitely been some kind of aerial assault. Eventually, she finds the prison office and bumps into Steve. He asks if she is related to a Chris Redfield. When she replies that he is her brother he shows her the computer and tells her that Chris is under electronic surveillance by Umbrella. The computer shows his current location in Europe and she e-mails Leon Kennedy telling him to get in touch with Chris and warn him. She also sends him the co-ordinates of the island they are on but Steve scoffs, saying that she shouldn’t rely on other people to help her before he runs off in a huff.

Eventually, Claire finds an emblem that lets her leave the prison complex and explore the other part of the island and arrives at a section that houses a mansion residence and a military training facility.

Searching the mansion she finds and helps Steve, who activated a security system and has been caught in a trap whilst trying to help himself to some of the antique guns on offer. But again, the immature Steve is too proud to accept her help and goes off on his own once more.

Leaving the room, Claire is unexpectedly attacked by a man brandishing a sniper rifle. He introduces himself as Alfred Ashford, commander of Rockfort Island and he believes Claire is behind the attacks on the island. He also tells her that his grandfather Edward Ashford was one of the three founding fathers of Umbrella.

After a tense standoff where neither of them can get a clear shot, Alfred leaves, saying that she can wait.

RE – ARCHIVES
Jill Valentine arrives at one of Chris’ safe houses, but discovers he has already left for Rockfort Island.

RECVX – GAME
Claire moves on, finding a submarine that leads to an underground dock for a sea plane, which must have been the airport Steve was on about. She now needs to find Steve and returns to the training facility to look for him. Inside, she finds a sealed room where a frantic researcher bangs on the glass to be let out before he is attacked and killed by a small creature called an albinoid. Claire only just manages to escape the area before it becomes locked down due to the biohazard.

Over the loud speaker, Alfred watches her and lures her into a trap against another BOW called a bandersnatch and luckily Steve arrives to save her. They decide to move on together but it becomes clear Steve soon has some trust issues and he goes to pieces when they encounter a zombie which had once been Steve’s imprisoned father. The zombie almost kills Claire before Steve recovers his senses in the nick of time to blow it away.

Steve collapses, explaining that his father was caught selling Umbrella’s secrets to the highest bidder and that he hates him for destroying his family. Claire decides to leave him alone to grieve whilst she moves on alone.

RECVX – GAME: NIGHT
Claire discovers the secret private residence of Alfred and Alexia Ashford on the back end of the island as a fierce thunder storm rattles out across the sky. Approaching the residence, she can hear female laughter cackling from the house. Inside, the mansion is eerie and spooky, with dolls and dusty books everywhere amidst a nest of bats. Upstairs, she can hear a conversation between Alexia and Alfred. Alexia wants to know why Alfred is taking so long in dealing with Claire and it appears Alfred wants Alexia to be the new glorious head of the Ashford family. Alexia suddenly believes she can see Claire but as she hides, believes it to be just her imagination. After they leave, Claire enters the bedroom where she finds the key she needs.

She then returns to the prison to check on Rodrigo and hands him some haemostatic medicine for his wounds. She also gives him her lighter that her brother Chris got her on her birthday. He is grateful and hands her a lock pick in return. She moves on, finding hidden torture chambers in the prison and evidence of Alfred’s other sick activities.

Returning to the palace, she is accosted on the steps by Albert Wesker who claims he is just a ghost come back to haunt her dear brother Chris. He beats her up, enjoying the fight and is annoyed when he is interrupted by a call on the radio. Apparently, Wesker still has men on the island. He leaves, expressing some super-human strength as he goes, leaving Claire bewildered and frightened on the floor. Shaken, she moves on.

RES2 – WESKER’S REPORT ON THE T-VERONICA VIRUS
Wesker sends an e-mail to ‘The Organization’ to a member codenamed ‘Golden Sheep’. He reports that the T-Veronica Virus is hidden somewhere on the island and that due to the third level biohazard, HCF have secured 90% of the island and that any form of organized resistance has already been suppressed. He also notes how a squad of agents were wiped out by two units of Hunters in just three minutes.

RECVX – GAME: LATE NIGHT
Claire returns to the Ashford’s private residence where Alexia waits for her with a sniper rifle. However, Steve turns up once more and shoots her. Wounded, she retreats through the alcove door into the next bedroom.

Following here, they find a trail of blood and a blonde wig on the music box. As Claire picks it up, Alfred, who has been hiding on top of the bed, jumps down to grab her but she dodges and Steve points his Uzi’s at him. Alfred screams at his own refection in the mirror and runs away before they can do anything.

Claire realizes that Alfred and Alexia must be the same person and that Alexia never existed at all, it was just a cover. Suddenly, alarms begin to ring as they realize Alfred has activated the self-destruct system and so they race for the plane.
As they reach the palace courtyard, they see several cargo planes taking off and leaving the island. Steve offers to prep their plane whilst Claire raises the bridge so they can escape.

Meanwhile, a wounded Alfred swears revenge on Claire and releases a T-78 Tyrant from stasis that USS Agent Hunk had delivered a few weeks before.

After Claire raises the bridge, she meets the monster on her way back to the plane and manages to knock it down long enough to get by. Once back on board, a relived Steve manages to take up the plane and they leave the burning island behind them. Claire suggests they head for Hawaii.

Meanwhile, Alfred struggles through the training facility as the complex erupts all around him. He enters an underground hangar and leaves the island also via a harrier jet.

Back on the plane, a sudden jolt prompts Claire to check out the back compartment where she is horrified to find the Tyrant has stowed a lift with them and she uses the cargo catapult to knock the creature out of the plane.

Returning to the cabin, Steve asks her what happened when the controls suddenly freeze and they change course. Alfred Ashford’s face appears on the monitor telling them he is taking them to a new destination. With nothing else they can do, they both decide to get some rest.

RES2 – GAME
RES2 – CLAIRE’S MONOLOGUE
Whilst asleep on the plane, Claire has a nightmare about the events on Rockfort Island and her battles with Steve, even dreaming she encountered the famous Nemesis of Raccoon City.

RECVX – GAME
Hours pass and when they eventually wake up they are shocked to discover they are over the Antarctic and are about to land at a small transport terminal which is also owned by Umbrella. They see that the other planes that had left Rockfort have landed here also. The computer malfunctions the landing however and they crash into the side of one of the main buildings, knocking them both unconscious.

After waking up, they share a tender moment together before splitting up to find a way out. It soon becomes apparent that the arriving planes from Rockfort have leaked the T-Virus here as well. Claire discovers a secret passage where she can heart the terrible moaning of an imprisoned creature known only as ‘Nosferatu’. After Claire leaves, the creature tears free of its bonds and begins to chase her down.

After restoring power to sections of the base, Claire is ambushed by Alfred but Steve shoots him with his machine guns causing him to plunge off the side of a ravine. Claire picks up Alfred’s sniper rifle and they climb into a digging machine which they use to penetrate the walls to get back outside the base. As they go however, the busted ice begins to melt and flood portions of the base. Steve mentions that there is an Australian research station located nearby and they decide to head there.

Back outside, they pass through a heliport to reach a parked snow cat to escape but Nosferatu is waiting for them. It uses its tentacles to knock Steve away, leaving him hanging precariously on the edge of the heliport. Claire battles the creature who emits poisonous gas yet she is able to kill it using Alfred’s rifle. She pulls Steve back up and they get into the snow cat and leave the base.

Meanwhile, a mortally wounded Alfred Ashford staggers into the main lab of the facility. A woman lies naked in a stasis tube. As he approaches the controls light up and the tube empties, revealing the real Alexia Ashford, who has been frozen for the last 15 years to allow her body to absorb the T-Veronica virus. Alfred marvels in her beauty before dying at her feet.
As Claire and Steve ride along laughing and joking, a huge tentacle shoots out from the base and envelops the snow cat, hurling it around as if it were a toy before dragging it back to the base. In the lab, Alexia strokes her dead brother’s hair and calmly watches the carnage on a monitor.

RECVX – GAME
Some time later, a small boat brings a lone man to Rockfort Island. Scaling the cliffs of the mountain, he wears a tactical vest bearing the RPD STARS insignia; it is Chris Redfield, last seen in Raccoon City back in August after what remained of his unit had been discredited by the police. He is here following a lead given to him by Leon S. Kennedy. He lumbers a bag full of weapons and equipment but he slips on the rock and the bag plummets back down into the sea. Undeterred, Chris moves on, reaching the top of the cliff, drawing his gun and vowing to save Claire.

He moves into the base and meets Rodrigo, who tells him that if Claire is still alive she probably left on one of the planes that took off a few hours earlier. Suddenly, they are attacked by the gulp worm that has been stalking the training facility and Rodrigo is swallowed whole. Chris kills the creature and Rodrigo is spat back out but it is too late for him. He gives Chris back his lighter before dying. Chris moves on into the remnants of the facility after the self destruction. In a computer room, he spies an image of Alexia singing on a monitor. Somewhere elsewhere on the base, Wesker is also watching the same image, cursing that Alexia is already fully awake. He then spots Chris and is pleased he is finally here. He remote activates a sensor unit to track Chris which will send the nearest Hunter to his position.

As Chris moves on, he comes to realize that the base is dead and that there are no survivors. As he moves through the lab however, he hears laughter behind him and whirls round to confront Albert Wesker, a man supposed to be long dead. Wesker explains that an organization has hired him to capture Alexia Ashford and Chris realizes that it was Wesker who attacked the island. He raises his weapon but Wesker moves with superhuman speed to knock it from Chris’ hands and send him sprawling. Wesker moves to finish him off, telling how much he despises Chris for ruining his plans. He also taunts him by sawing he knows his sister is now in the Antarctic. Suddenly, Alexia appears on the monitor and taunts them both, making Wesker throw Chris away and leave immediately.

Chris races after him but Wesker has gone. With nothing left to do but leave, Chris moves to the hangar and takes one of Alfred’s jets, his course set for Antarctica.

RECVX – GAME
Chris arrives at Antarctica to find the base almost deserted, the flooding that Steve had caused has iced up, trapping many of the zombies and corpses. He finds the body of Nosferatu, which after reading Alfred Ashford’s diary realizes that it is actually his father Alexander, whom Alfred and Alexia had experimented on with the Veronica virus.
He eventually finds Claire trapped in a room which is an exact replica of the main hall of the old Spencer Mansion in Raccoon Forest. He frees her and she is grateful to see him but says they cannot leave without Steve. Suddenly, Alexia arrives to taunt them and they give chase after her but a huge tentacle blocks their progress and cuts Claire off from Chris.
Claire moves on, finding Steve trapped in a room just like Nosferatu. Steve awakes and says that Alexia has injected him with T-Veronica. Claire knows his body will not be able to cope with the virus and he mutates into a monster and attacks her. She manages to get away until she is attacked by another tentacle. As she hangs there, helpless, Steve moves to kill her before instead hacking the tentacle in two. Enraged, the tentacle fatally wounds him before moving off. Dying, Steve returns back to human form and tells Claire that he loves her before closing his eyes for good. Claire bursts into tears.

RECVX – GAME
Meanwhile, back in the main hall, Chris hides in the corner as Wesker moves towards Alexia. The only existing sample of the T-Veronica virus is in her body and he wants it. She retorts that he is not worthy of its power and as he stands mesmerized, she transforms into a medusa-like creature and sends him flying with one punch. Wesker uses his powers to attack her but they have little effect until he spies Chris hiding in the corner. Wesker mocks him that he’ll leave Alexia to him as he’s one of his best men before fleeing the room. Chris uses his colt python and manages to knock Alexia down long enough to escape.

Moving on, he comes to a small prison area where he can hear Claire sobbing behind a door. She explains that Steve is dead and the door has automatically locked. Claire hands him a file from under the door explaining that if they activate the self destruct system it should unlock all the doors and activate the emergency exits. Chris takes the information and uses the password Veronica to start the sequence.

Their plan works and Claire gets out and meets up with Chris just as Alexia arrives for a final confrontation. Chris distracts her long enough for Claire to get away before unloading his entire arsenal on Alexia, who by this time has mutated into a kind of queen ant. Chris spies a Linear Rocket Launcher on the wall and uses it to finish off Alexia for good. He now has five minutes to get out before the base goes up. On his way back to the hangar however, he spots Wesker, who has taken Claire hostage. He chases them down, finally catching up with them in a submarine hangar as the base begins to blow all around them. Chris convinces Wesker to let Claire go and Chris tells her to wait for him in the jet. Before she goes, he taunts her that his men have taken Steve’s body and will recover the Veronica virus from his bloodstream. Once she goes, Chris and Wesker prepare to face off.

Wesker pummels Chris, beating him to a pulp. Not even a metal pipe to the face can slow the former STARS commander down. Bloodied and bleeding, Chris desperately lunges for a lever which drops a pile of steel girders on top of Wesker. Wesker slowly gets up and appears weakened yet still ok. A nice try, he mocks Chris when suddenly a pipe explodes and they are separated by a wall of flame. Wesker’s face is horribly burned and he warns Chris that today is his lucky day and that next time they meet he won’t be able to count on another. With no time to spare, Chris races for the hangar.

RECVX – EPILOGUE
A relived Claire is pleased to see him as Chris jumps onto the jet and they take off with seconds to spare as the base goes up under them. Claire wants Chris to promise her that he won’t leave her again but Chris apologizes saying that he can’t do that until they take out Umbrella once and for all.

RECVX – GAME
Albert Wesker also escapes via submarine, his mission a success with the recovered T-Veronica sample.

1999

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS
Chris Redfield gets in touch with the other ex-STARS members and informs them that Wesker is still alive. They must double their efforts to find him and destroy Umbrella for good.

REOUT1 – EPILOGUE: MARCH
Six months after the disaster at Raccoon City, Umbrella scientists are doing a recon over ground zero. The whole site is surrounded by a chain link fence with biohazard markings. A fighter jet flies over the site, taking aerial photographs. The pilot concludes there is no way anything human could be alive down there.

Far below, amidst the wreckage, Umbrella has set up some temporary offices. A man looks out of the window at the wreckage when he receives a phone call. The caller tells him they are scheduled to begin at noon. The man agrees.
